Face
The 2011 Giants gave up more points than they scored in the regular season. That team had absolutely no business being in the playoffs. And I specifically remember two extremely fluky wins, one against Arizona where Victor Cruz fumbled the ball and the refs missed the call and the other against Dallas when Miles Austin dropped a sure TD pass that would have likely put the game out of reach. The 2007 team throughout the regular season just wasn't that good. The one thing I'll say is the 2011 team had about as difficult a schedule as you can have. Also, GB was totally out of sync after the bye week, they were dropping passes left & right & Rodgers was just missing guys. But still, what was so impressive was they had no breaks in the playoffs, aside from TB in '07 they had all the best teams & just flat out beat them, on the road no less. No lucky or fluky wins, they just flat out won.

Dallas should have won that game easily. The Giants definitely deserved to win the other 7 games in those playoffs.

OILERMAN
Cousins had a bad night but it was more bad decisions in a very bad situation down big to the Giants. It's not like he couldn't drop back in the pocket and execute a simple forward pass like Locker or anything. I still Cousins can develop
Alcibiades
I didn't watch the game, but in the highlights, the INT they showed was a horrible throw. It wasn't a bad decision. He underthrew the ball badly and Rolle picked it easily. I wouldn't change my minds about the Giants just because they beat the horrid Redskins. titanfan24
Problem with Cousins is that he's a bit limited. He's basically Matt Schaub Jr. Not a bad QB but his ceiling is probably being the 15-18 best QB in the league. You get him off schedule and he becomes a below average QB. begooode
is Cousins the flavor of the week gone bad? Kirk Cousins played so well in his first two games this season that coach Jay Gruden was open to the possibility of Cousins keeping the starting job in Washington even after Robert Griffin III returns. Cousins has played so badly since then that there’s talk in Washington of benching him for third-stringerColt McCoy. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/10/13/talk-in-washington-of-benching-kirk-cousins-for-colt-mccoy/ The problem would be that McCoy, who was the Browns’ starter in 2010 and 2011, has done nothing to make anyone think he’s a competent NFL quarterback. Unfortunately, neither has Cousins: Washington has lost four straight games, and Cousins’ three-interception fourth quarter on Sunday doomed any chance the team had of beating the Cardinals. Cousins now has two different three-interception quarters this season; Griffin has never thrown three interceptions in a game.

It's pure speculation by Brian Mitchell who is nothing but a blowhard these days. He's always supported Griffin so he's taking a shot at Cousins. Nothing to see here. StephenIsLegend
Colt McCoy couldn't carry Cousins' jockstrap. What a fucking joke.

It's about the regression of Kirk Cousins. wth is up with that?

It's about the regression of Kirk Cousins. wth is up with that? I live in Northern VA and no one is calling for McCoy to start. The article is completely misleading. That being said, Cousins has opened the door for Griffin to get his job back with all his turnovers.
OILERMAN
I actually thought Cousins did OK the last two weeks vs. Seattle and even yesterday, the Skins aren't very good
