AvgJoe
NFLN highlighted one play where Cousins looked the safety over & pump faked to the outside guy then threw a seam route to the slot guy. It was beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen Jake do something like this. Have we ever seen Jake even complete a pass that wasn't high or behind his receiver? TitansWycheck89
I'm sure this isn't realistic but I'd go after the young offensive guy in Kyle Shanahan and trade the #1 pick for Kirk Cousins. The Redskins are absolutely married to RGIII and desperately need picks back for the trade they made to the Rams. We don't know about the rookie QBs coming out and guys like Cutler and Big Ben are 30+, we know Cousins can play and he's only 25. This would be my plan Thanks for posting my Private Message to you...

Dmeade-
This plan sounds horrible OK people, now we know this 100% the way to go, it's a mortal lock!
Oiler FANatic
Looking good two weeks in a row Cousins looks pretty good. 4 INT's and 1 lost fumble in a 45-14 blowout by the Giants in DC. Anyone who wants Kirk Cousins as their starting QB better be careful what they wish for. BTW, did anyone watch South Park the other night? I thought it was interesting that they had someone there who was clearly supposed to be Cousins but RG3 was not shown at all.
Face
I think the real story is WTF has gotten into the Giants? I thought they'd be vying for the 1st pick, they have an incredibly untalented team. If they go to the playoffs we need to offer Coughlin a billion dollars a year to coach us. Number9
He might be the vic of TNF. Last week, we saw another laugher. I think they should shorten the number of Thursday night games. Then match two teams coming off bye weeks. The divisional rivals is good, but the prep time is a problem. If the Titans played last night, half the team is still getting over last week. scine09
I think the real story is WTF has gotten into the Giants? I thought they'd be vying for the 1st pick, they have an incredibly untalented team. If they go to the playoffs we need to offer Coughlin a billion dollars a year to coach us. I know it is very premature, but let's look at the 2007 season and 2011 season and compare it to this season. 2007, the Giants start off 0-2 with two blowout losses at Dallas and vs Green Bay where the defense absolutely couldn't stop anyone. They go into Washington and win a tight one and then blow out the Eagles to get to 2-2. Going into that season most people thought the Giants were not going to be a factor and that Eli Manning stunk. Coughlin was coaching for his job that season. Many thought that a bad season would be the end for both in NY. And we all know how that season ended. 2011, the Giants start off 1-1 with a loss at a bad Washington team and a win against a St. Louis team that would go on to win two games the entire year. Again, going into the season most people thought that the Giants would be lousy, that Coughlin was coaching for his job and that Eli Manning stunk. He was coming off a dismal 2010 season in which the Giants totally collapsed at the end. Again many thought that a bad season would be the end of them in NY. They'd go onto blow the Eagles out in Philly in week 3 and we all know how that season ended. 2014, the Giants start off 0-2 with a blowout loss at Detroit and a home loss to a Drew Stanton-led team. Now they're 2-2 with big wins against less than stellar competition, but still two decisive wins. It's another year in which people think that Coughlin is coaching for his job and that Eli Manning stinks. Once again, many feel that this could be the last year of both guys in NY. Will this season end like 2007 and 2011 did? I would say probably not but the similarities are eerily similar to the situations that the Giants faced those two seasons. I know we spoke about this before the season Scine & I thought the Giants would be terrible, looks like I was wrong. I remember reading an article from Football Outsiders basically saying the '07 & '11 Giants are the 2 most difficult teams to explain statistically. They were basically average, maybe a bit better, throughout both seasons but then in the postseason they just looked like a top team, almost out of nowhere. They have no indications of being that good throughout either season. Strange.

That team had absolutely no business being in the playoffs. And I specifically remember two extremely fluky wins, one against Arizona where Victor Cruz fumbled the ball and the refs missed the call and the other against Dallas when Miles Austin dropped a sure TD pass that would have likely put the game out of reach. The 2007 team throughout the regular season just wasn't that good.
Guest
This isn't fair. I'm sure Oilerman has changed his mind on Cousins at least 7 times since 2013.
