CMJ
It's almost becoming a cruel joke. You post some negative stuff about Harper and the guy looks like the 2nd coming of Michael Turner. You post bad stuff about Ayers and the guy wins the starting strongside spot the next day, you post VY will have an MVP type season and he gets benched for good under Fisher and Adams agrees to cut him. Obviously the LW stuff was 100% wrong. I can't bear to watch this unfold on these forums because I actually like you. LOL

titansfan
I thought Harper looked good. He showed good vision, but Im going to have to credit the offensive line for the running game yesterday. The holes they were opening up were great. On many of the runs Harper never got touched. As for Ayers, dude still hasn't shown me anything. I said he's a good pass rusher, and so far thats been about all I have really seen from him. He has avoided contact since in college. I wasnt just making up shit, the evidence was there.

Jonboy
Yeah, Im hoping its going to be something monumental and gets many of the "smart" fans here crying about us overpaying for an overrated speed back. And I have a feeling thats what it will be. Something historic thats just going to shock everybody. I doubt Reinfeldt would do anything all that outlandish. I just hope they get it done. Whatever it takes (aside from QB money, which I'm pretty sure CJ and his agent know is ludicrous).
cenj
Oman...funniest post I've read from you in awhile. I think that the O-line has looked like the most improved unit on the entire team; game 1 we dominated in pass protection, and game 2 we ran down the Rams throats with ease. Amano looked really, really good. He consistently moved his guy off the line. In fact, I'm surprised more people aren't raving about the line; Munchak and Matthews apparently knew what they were doing keeping Harris and Amano in there, and the fans -- so far -- look like the silly MMQBS we truly are. Harper played really well last night. You can't really fault him for anything, clearly he is better than Lendale. I do think that RBs look a lot better when they aren't getting touched in the backfield and can hit the hole full speed. I'd like to see him run against a thick 3-4 D-line like NYJ or Pitt. One difference b/w the Fitz and CJ situations is Fitz would become a FA next season and had a clause in his contract stating he couldn't be franchise tagged Fitz held all the cards....on the cards lol We have leverage in our situation

Justafan
There are a lot of similarities between CJ and ED but I think its a little soon to really be throwing around the comparisons between the contract situations.

wiscotitansfan
I still didn't see the power some of you do. He hit some guys at least more than last week but he still never ran anyone over or through them.... He just sort of ran into them.
