Nothing against DH, but the NFL decided to go the way of the forward pass and the rules they have made make it easier for the offense to score points by throwing the ball down the field. They have devalued the RB position on purpose. Having an “elite” rb, by whatever your definition of that is, is not as important as it once was. DH was a unicorn when he could break long runs consistently, but now that he’s lost a step his carries need to go way down. The offense needs to go the way of protect the qb, accurate throws, fast receivers, big te with hands, and speedy backs that can pass protect and catch the ball.
