  1. You know you’re going to watch. It’s like slowing down to see a car wreck. You just have to!
  2. That’s on Bowen. He’s the Todd Downing of DCs…
  3. It’s pretty clear why Alshair never played much for the 49ers…
  4. That would still leave us undersized by NFL standards on the left side. He’s really on the team to back up Ben Jones at center and fill in injury holes on the line. He could be the successor to Jones or even beat him out in the future though.
  5. Brewer is 6’1”/275. No way he replaces Saffold permanently in this league.
  6. To me, the saddest part of this season was the way we squandered Jonnu Smith’s great playmaking ability to use him primarily as a blocker. He is a tremendous run after catch guy, but we used him to block. With teams selling out on the run, we could have dragged him across the middle all year for big gains. I would keep him over Davis, but only if we’re going to throw to him 70+ times a season.
  7. The time of possession is more a function of our offense not being able to stay on the field. You can blame this on our defense all you want, but you’re wrong in this game. Our defense is not good, but they were good enough today. Our offense scoring 13 points is simply inexcusable.
  8. Bullshit. What game would we have won this season scoring only 13 points? And they did not eat “tons of clock”. He got 80% of his yardage on 3 runs and we shut Dobbins down completely. We also had 5 QB sacks today.
  9. And yet, it was the offense that cost us the game today.
  10. Totally agree. Yards are for fantasy football players. The key is points, and we held them to only 20. Our offense let us down today. Period!
  11. We allowed a lot more yardage the last time we played them, but we won because we scored more than 13 fucking points!
  12. I think Arthur Smith FedEx’d the second half in...
  13. The defense did their job today holding Baltimore to 20 pts. We lost this game because our OC called a horrible game – not staying with the fast tempo and middle slants that got us out to a ten point lead. He decided to bang us into a brick wall repeatedly instead of getting the ball to AJ, Jonnu & Firk in the open field.
