In a head to head matchup, Trump would destroy Hillary

I watched Trump's rally today and he honestly looked like a beaten man. The cockiness is gone

When the crowd started yelling "Lock her up" he seriously looked embarrassed

I actually think the polls have swung just a little too far in Hillary's favor based on the current news cycle.  I don't see a 10-15 point race.  I expect some regression to the mean and settle back to the 4-6 point range.  But Trump also faces long odds to get the final result lower than that IMO.

Normally it would just be a post-convention bounce in the polls, but as many bad things have come out of Trump in the week following the DNC I honestly don't think it will look like a short term bounce. He may continue to drop in the polls as new one come out next week.

Redstate is not a conservative site. They are and always have been RINOs who are never Trumpers. They are a big part of the GOP establishment that has been been trying too take down Trump so that they can retain control over the GOP.

Don't tell me you are that brainwashed to think that RedState isn't conservative...

The hate Trump largely because they are conservative.

Here's something to watch.

Trump spent a lot of his own money, probably 40+ million, during the primaries.  Self-funding and all that....

He has repeatedly said since the end of the primaries that this was a donation not a loan which can be repaid.

To do that it requires filling out a simple form with the Federal Election commission.  To date, he hasn't done so even though several months have passed.

Last month the money rolling in and presumably a lot thru recurring contributions.  What's he waiting on to convert the loan to a donation?  As a side note, once his casinos started to fail with high debt from junk bonds that he couldn't service, he bled them dry and took personal advantage. He off loaded personal debt on to the casinos and paid himself a high salary even though they were failing.

He's planning on stealing the money?

No way to know for sure.  But it sure looks like he's leaving the option open to repay what he spent in the primaries, even though he said he wouldn't.

As long as he keeps flying in his own plane and staying in his own properties, the campaign will keep paying him. He's making money on this whole thing and he has an army of crazy morons praising him. Why would he drop out?

I guess if he loaned money to the campaign, it would just be repaying a campaign loan to himself the lender.  Likely not illegal just dishonest when he publicly said he would not seek repayment but did not file paperwork to do so.  Although all his use of his companies might cause some problem.

I don't know what the split is, but part of the money that he's raising goes to the RNC.  He signed a joint fund raising agreement.

The RNC uses their share to fund their operations and down ballot candidates.

If he drops out, presumably a lot of that RNC money dries up as well.
