Adrian Peterson Wins MVP

It's hard to give it to one of the QBs over another one. How was Manning any more valuable than Brady or Rodgers?

Rodgers was the most deserving QB and he wasn't even considered.

Had Brown been a day one starter and the Titans didn't suck… then he would have been DROY.

Had he started all 16 games he would have had like 100+ tackles with 6 or INTS and 7-8 sacks. Thats insane for a 4-3 OLB.

You can't extrapolate sacks and interceptions that way. Either way you are still wrong. I would also point out that Kuechly didn't move to MLB until 4 games into the season due to Beason going on IR. As for David, he put up ridiculous numbers from the WLB position. Brown was very good this year but there is no shame in admitting Kuechly and David were better.

It should always be given to a QB regardless.

I think Manning had a better year than Rodgers but if you think that Rodgers was better then fine.

But a player at any other position that gets it makes absolutely no sense.

How can you say that a RB was more valuable to his team than a QB? I could pick probably 10 QB's who were more valuable than any RB.

If you wanted to give Peterson the offensive player of the year award then fine, that's a different situation. He put up huge stats so I guess he deserves that award. The award has no actual correlation with a player's value to a team.

But last time I checked the RB isn't the one who is making all the throws while having to make line changes, deal with oncoming pass rushers and deliver a perfect strike, try and decide what defense that the opponent is in and either audible because of that, change how the OL is positioned, etc, in a short amount of time while handling the ball every single offensive play of the game. How many times a game does a top RB touch the ball? 30? How many split decisions does a top RB have to make? Certainly way way less decisions than a QB has to make.

It's so wrong that I don't even know if the voters who voted for Peterson ever even thought about the value of a great QB when they made their votes.

I agree but it's just the way the award is named.

It would be better served being called: "The most outstanding season" or something like that.

No NFL decision maker would take AP over a top QB

That's why they have offensive player of the year though.

Well the media and fans are stupid.

We actually had entire networks dedicating their coverage to Tim Tebow who is not even good enough to be on a teams 53 man roster is judged accurately.

I got both picks right I had Peterson as the MVP and Griffin the rookie of the year.

You also believe Aliens visit the earth and that a plane didn't hit the Pentagon.
