freakingeek
Just thinking out loud, if he was, would a VY for Albert trade be totally out of the question? Shanny rids himself of Albert and gets another option at QB. Granted it probably wouldn't be even swap but it might benefit both team. I really don't know if Wash being gone would have an impact either. Just a thought during a pretty dead time for football.

VY is going to be cut, right away, asap, lickedy split, immediately when the NFL resumes. He won't be around long enough for the Titans to even think about trading him. NashvilleNinja
Even if VY is gone lickity split, there's still a low-round 2012 draft pick that we could possibly deal Washington for AH. Assuming that Tracy Rocker and the rest of the Titans coaches/FO would want AH on the team. Given Munch's "accountability to one another" speech when he took over the team I doubt he'd readily want AH and his south-of-motivated work ethic hanging around. Besides, doesn't he have some legal issues hanging over his head?
reo
There was a rumor a little while back that the Titans might trade VY for AH and McNabb. I don't really want either but if we can't sign Hasselbeck, Bulger or trade for Palmer, I could see it being possible. The other big possibility for a trade w/ Vy would be Buffalo iirc. The main question for me isn't really whether or not we can do it... it's do we want them or either?

More a testiment to how bad McNabb is than anything about Bulger. At this point in his career McNabb is more concerned w/ image and money than working hard and winning. He was horrible in Washington. big2033
Do you think a new Titans coaching staff wants a vet like Hayneworth?
reo
Depends on the scheme. I'm thinking he might not fit this scheme anymore than he fit NT of a 3-4. Depends if they want those big guys to penetrate or just take up blockers.

If we could pull that off it would be highway robbery.

Nobody wanted Bulger to even start last I checked... maybe its a testament on him wanting money rather than working hard and winning.

freakingeek
I'm thinking AH would want to be anywhere but Washington. The real question is Rocker and Gray and the new atmosphere that Munch is trying to install. AH is probably just the kind of player he doesn't want. I think self motivation is pretty high on the priority list. With Wash's move to Philly, I'd say the days of drafting those Dline "projects" and letting the staff whip them into shape could be over. We had pretty good luck at it for a while but I don't think we see Munch coddle players like the previous regime.
Cyrus
No one will trade for Young because of his contract. It's unlikely the Titans will be able to renegotiate a paycut for Young (why would he accept?) before the roster bonus (so they could trade him) so the Titans will be forced to cut him in order to avoid the payment. I've been bangin' this drum from the time of the announcement. I think you're the ONE guy that gets it.

Any trade would more than likely include an extension that spread his cap number over a few years while reducing it and making it very easy to cut him in the next couple years w/ little or no cap hit.
