Cyrus
Wyatt: Former Colts OC Tom Moore has been brought in by the Titans to provide advice. Moore attended Thursday practice. Moore will help Dowell Loggains and the quarterbacks as a "resource" to the staff, Munchak. Moore will work with the team the rest of the season. Munchak said he will just be a "helping hand". Munchak said it was a "spur of the moment" decision. Said he'll be an offensive assistant. Munchak said he has known Tom Moore for years and talked to him when he was putting his staff together in 2011. "He is a great fit for us moving forward," Munchak said of Moore. Munchak said Loggains was excited to hear about the addition of Moore. Glennon: Longtime NFL assistant Tom Moore w Titans at practice today working w QBs. Moore has been NFL asst for over three decades. He'll be here for immediate future and Munchak says he's part of staff. No title for Moore at present. He's helping because Loggains moved from QB coach to offensive coordinator. Munchak says Moore will be a great resource for coaching staff because of experience. Sounds like great news. McCormick also reporting that Moore was indeed Munchak's first choice at OC. It sounds like he'll be an offensive assistant and possibly an unofficial "quarterback coach" now that Loggains has been promoted. There's no official title though. nine
Wow. I'd say this definitely falls somewhere between "win" and "major coup" for the organization.
Jamalisms
That's big. Results will be who knows what, but that's big.
Cyrus
Kind of seems like the Titans are wanting Loggains to be the offensive coordinator long-term. Moore might be more helpful to Loggains than Locker at the moment. It can't be a coincidence that he's hired shortly after Palmer is gone. Based on Loggains reputation it seems like they feel like he's capable of gleaning a lot from these high profile coaches.

luvyablue256
Now if we could only get Bill Polian in the front office, we'd be set.
freakingeek
This can't be anything but good news for the Titans. A definite asset. Great move by Munch.

Pragidealist
They must really like Loggain for the long term, somewhere. Wonder how this will shake out.
Jonboy
Why didn't we get Moore in the first place? I remember us going after him...
freakingeek
Could also be insurance if Loggains didn't work out as OC. (which I feel like isn't a very likely scenario.)
Jamalisms
I think it would have affected his pension or something... and I think it was only ever rumored that we wanted him... not confirmed. At the same time... I think it was undisputed.
Cyrus
Why didn't we get more in the first place? I remember us going after him... Because he's 73 and being an offensive coordinator was likely too much for him at that age.
chef
A great set of training wheels for Loggains. And Locker will surely benefit as well, even if only for a short time.
