Haven't kept up with the latest cartel news but I remember reading about this new cartel over a decade ago.  These guys were small but they were wreaking havoc in Jalisco area and giving the established cartels a run for their money (Sinaloa Cartel and the Zetas were big back then).

But it's crazy how this dude talks to the police.  Our politics isn't as crazy as this but judging by what that lawyer said to Les Wexner, I think we got our own monsters as well.  But just watch how this dude talks... just crazy.

What do you guys think will be the short term and longer term outcome?

And are any of you Mexican or have Mexican friends/family that are affected by the cartel activity?
Let's pray for the safety of the Mexican locals and the tourists that are trapped in Puerto Vallarta area.

Probably an ex-senator by next week. Whoops. Seems she doesn't speak for most Mexicans after all.    Mexico City. With more than 370,000 signatures in three days, Mexican citizens are reques

Always pretty funny how easy it is to pick out the fringe right wingers with an agenda. I knew within 30 seconds she was a TV personality before I even looked her up.   It doesn't mean there

Does anyone in this country really cares what happens in Mexico?  There’s enough problems in this country to worry about.   but the propoganda bot gotta do his thing.

So Tellez is saying what many of us already assumed... Mexico is a Narco State.

But if Sheinbaum is bought out by the cartel, which cartel specifically?

Mexico City. With more than 370,000 signatures in three days, Mexican citizens are requesting the removal of Lilly Téllez, Senator for the National Action Party (PAN) for “inviting the United States Government to intervene in Mexico ,” which was considered “treason,” the petitioners explained through the Change.org platform, where the petition continues to collect signatures.

Are the 370,000 people related to the various cartels?  Do you think Soros paid for the signatures?  Maybe you should ask Alex Jones 😆

BUKELE: “There is no State that cannot prevail against criminals. If a State does not defeat criminality, it is because the State is complicit.”

It’s clear what’s going on with Mexico.

It doesn't mean there aren't real issues in Mexico. No one says any differently. But the idea most Mexicans want US intervention is complete bullshit. Any incursion onto their territory would be an act of war.

What would you do if you were Mexican living in Mexico or if you had family living in Mexico?

Shit!  I forgot I have a missionary dude living in Mexico.  Imma check how he's doing.

Damn.  Didn't even know he messaged me earlier today.

From my missionary friend.

"Dear Daniel,

We trust that this message finds you well. You may have heard news about Mexico lately. Yesterday the Mexican military did an operation to capture one of the most wanted drug kingpin in Jalisco, Mexico. It’s about 6 hours drive from our house. He was killed during the operation, and his criminal drug organization engaged in acts of violence in Jalisco, including the burning of buses and vehicles, as well as the obstruction of streets and highways. This incident caused widespread concern among the public, leading to a significant impact on travel within Jalisco. Consequently, this situation has had a ripple effect throughout Mexico. Some individuals have seized the opportunity to engage in vandalism of local stores, in other states such as OXXO, which is like a 7-Eleven store. We would like to assure you that we are ok and safe in Querétaro. The situation in Querétaro has remained peaceful. We extend our sincere gratitude for your concern and prayer. We encourage you to take time to pray for Mexico, particularly for the authorities who are diligently working to restore peace and security in Jalisco. Pray for families who have lost loved ones, soldiers, and national guards, who were killed during the capture of the most wanted drug kingpin in Jalisco, Mexico this Monday. Pray for students in Jalisco who have been affected by the violence and are unable to return to school. Pray that God will give them peace and comfort.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your faithful supports and prayers for our family and God’s work in Mexico. May the peace of God be with you."

Please pray for Mexico and the the people there...

Do what everyone else is doing and stay inside. This shit happens there when major drug kingpins get killed or captured. Happened in 2016 when they got El Chapo. Happened in 2019 when they got his son.

Once again, not saying it isn't crazy, because it is, but they aren't out there massacring people from what I've read. The Mexican government has a huge problem on their hands for sure. Killing a kingpin doesn't solve it. A huge problem for them is that American love getting fucked up, so that problem isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Well Mexico is a big trading partner so what happens there does impact us.

Nothing has come out but I wonder if Trump’s threats had any impact on the Mexican government’s decision to kill the head of the cartel (and also his 2nd in command since then). We know our military was involved, at least in an intelligence role. And Trump had been openly talking about US military action in Mexico.
