What an absolute disaster from Allar a lot of smoke that the Browns would of selected him very early had he declared for the 2025 draft and now probably not even a top 50 pick.

Maybe in a few weeks. Possibly around the BYE or a couple after. There's still 10 games left in the season, and there are also a number of weeks left in the college season. If we move it over there ri

If we look to add another iDL piece, I think Capeheart is a sneaky option.

We have talked about Halton, Proctor, and Durant a lot, as undersized DT that can penetrate.

Capehart tested phenomenally and has the size and length to play on all downs.

Likely to go sometime day 3, I think he could be a sneaky option at DT then for us.

Of note, our DL Coach Aaron Whitecotton was among the coaches to put the Clemson DL (including Capehart) through their Pro Day workouts.

We have talked about Jacob Rodriguez a fair amount, but maybe we need to consider Cinci LB Jake Golday more as a Day 2 option for them at LB as he really does compare well to Fred Warner, at least athletically.

A lot of fans are going to be disappointed if they are thinking Borgonzi is going to be looking for a smaller speed EDGE guy with his premium draft capital that simply isn't what he described as his ideal pass rusher.

So... forget guys like Thomas and Bailey then? Yeah, I'll go ahead and stake my claim to disappointment. Does this mean we weren't taking Abdul Carter regardless of whether or not Ward existed in the 2025 draft?

Carter is not "small" he is over 250lbs and has shown the power to stop pulling guards in their tracks.

My way-too-early first (3 round) mock. With a couple trade backs.

You are setting yourself up for disappointment if you are hoping Borgonzi is going to use a premium first round pick on a speed rusher he has already made it clear power is his #1 trait in terms of EDGE guys.

I'm sure he will eventually add speed rushers with later round picks but until he gets his 2 foundation starters at EDGE he will be looking at those big powerful guys with his premium picks.

I know, I've read enough of the tea leaves that you and others have posted about what they're after. Thomas is who I would hope they target in the 2nd round if he's available, which he may not be if he keeps up what he's been doing.

In my perfect world they get their bigger slab of beef in the 1st and that Femi has come on strong enough in this season for them to say "Bain/Sutton/Faulk/Parker and Femi are our bookend rushers... so maybe we can go get one of these speed guys now."

But I'm probably setting myself up for disappointment there too.

@AussieTitanFan08, you false ass prophet. I had a bead on Bailey from long ago and you talked me out of it.

It's funny though... in that first mock back in August I had us taking both Bailey and Tate in the 2nd and 3rd round. Lol
