The best case scenario is that the Titans get #1 and then it falls Dolphins at 2, Jets at 3 or 4. The pressure on the Jets GM to jump over Miami for the QB will be absolutely enormous. We will be able to rake them over the coals, especially when you factor in that the Saints, Browns and Raiders will also be interested in trading up for the pick to some degree.

Yes, this is what I am hoping for too. There will also be a lot of pressure on the Browns, especially if Shadeur gets in there and looks awful--I like that they have the Jaguars pick.

Our defense could be strong if we end up with a pass rusher in the draft, a pass rusher in free agency and a CB in the draft and a CB in free agency (assuming we punt Sneed into the sun).

This is actually not implausible if a Jags trade happened.

Of course, not sure the Free Agency landscape looks great despite our money. We'd have to unload a significant amount to get Trey Hendrickson.

What an absolute disaster from Allar a lot of smoke that the Browns would of selected him very early had he declared for the 2025 draft and now probably not even a top 50 pick.

Maybe in a few weeks. Possibly around the BYE or a couple after. There's still 10 games left in the season, and there are also a number of weeks left in the college season. If we move it over there ri

Really is becoming harder to make a case why guys like Dylan Stewart have to play 3 full CFB seasons before being available for the draft.   The 2027 draft class looks like it could be compl

There are issues in free agency with the lack of top end talent and a lot of cap space chasing the best guys.  This has been discussed here before.

Otoh, the bottom end of the Titans roster, maybe guys 25-50, is also very week.  It shouldn't be that hard in free agency to improve the depth at the bottom of the roster.  For example, I looked at the CB free agent list on Spotrac.  There are 35 guys available with 5 years or less of league experience.  If Borgonzi also wants to improve CB spots 4-6 (in addition to the top 3 spots) on the depth chart, then it shouldn't be that hard or expensive.

Daniel Jeremiah was very strong during a media appearance on the Ringer NFL Show today that the Titans have to not only get Ward a true #1 WR but divert a lot of their resources towards the Offensive side of the ball and building around Ward.

They did draft some offensive weapons for him.  Would having an inferior defense not put more pressure on Ward?

None out of Dike/Helm/Ayomanor are top tier receiving weapons they are all complementary pieces.

At least they didn't completely ignore WR besides a token late pick.

They are on track to be the lowest scoring offense in 14yrs not sure why there is such reluctance to try and help Ward.

Yes the defense needs a massive talent infusion as well but you know what would really suck if they ruin the #1 overall pick QB they just drafted because they didn't get enough talent around him.

They are almost at expansion level, they need everything.

They have a QB and GM, imo.  That's the foundation. They need a competient HC to complete the trifecta.

As I posted before, they have 7 starting holes (not counting upgrades) in the starting lineup....RG, WR, RB, DL (Day is a FA), OLb, 2 CBs.  Maybe 8 spots if you want to go with 2 WRs.

They have 3 day 1 or 2 picks, maybe more if there is a trade down.  It's possible they get a immediate starter at the top of the 4th.  Borgonzi needs to find 3-4 day 1 starters in  free agency.  Not impossible.  Plenty of cap space for that and to upgrade roster  depth.  They might have to overpay for the starters.
