BudsOilers
If you want an NFL team, your city/state has to fund the majority of the costs for a state of the art stadium. Those are the rules of engagement.

All she could gather was 200 million from selling stock in her family’s company. Amy has one of the lowest net worths of all NFL owners. Again, you and others running their mouth but have no idea what you are even talking about AAS' personal wealth is irrelevant for the discussion. The Titans could sell 10% of the team to a private equity firm right now and pocket 600 M if they wanted cash. oldschool, and IsntLifeFunny
rns90
Wait so if AAS is so cash poor, why would she sell now when she could be making even more money by owning the team. This is making much sense at all now.

BudsOilers
AAS is ranked 23rd in terms of owner net worth at $ 2 Billion. Tied with the owner of the Lions. This idea she's poor is pretty hysterical.

And it would be an embarrassment to the family. Very true it would be, but again I do not think people here understand my point. (Not you specifically) Amy is about to have serious heat turned her way when, not if, the ticket sales do not make it. & again whether people like it or they do not…alot of Tennesseans hate the team. Whether people like it or not, East Tennessee had a big say in state affairs. The first capital city was there for a reason. There was a time to make a bad hire, that time wasn’t now. So I just sincerely wonder about the possibility of her selling the team when the finances get tight. She is not as rich as people here are eluding in comparison to other owners. New stadium adds serious pressure to this team, that right now I am afraid is going to end very badly. I don’t see how anything improves without the team landing a star QB in the draft. Ran used all the cap space needed really to get a Free Agent QB worth a damn this offseason. This team is backed into a corner, with loads of financial goals they are supposed to hit with potentially the worst coach the team has ever had. The ingredients are there for chaos. Truly are. Hopefully it turns around before it gets to that. BudsOilers, oldschool, and IsntLifeFunny

I could care less if you all are offended by reality. The reality still is half the state is livid over it, and a bad product will only intensify the divide. Facts don’t really care about everyone’s feelings here. And I’ll bet right now if this team isn’t vastly improved by 2027 my money is Tenneseans get Amy to sell Half the state is too dumb to realize tourists are paying for almost all of it.... titanruss
The Nashville part of it is covered by tourists. The state portion will be covered by a tax that equals out to like 1 bottle of Coca-Cola per year... maybe 2 after interest on bonds. The revenue and $$$$ brought in by hosting the team and the venue for the city and state cancels that out 100x Tennesseans will be worth more because of it and they will have a football team for 30 years to cheer for as well as a badass stadium venue for concerts and events. If you are the type that complains about that, then you either have nothing better to do, are brainwashed, or too ignorant to understand much at all in life and should probably just stop posting opinions in favor of questions. I don’t think this guy realizes that this is a civic investment where you bring in revenue and that the Titans are only a portion of it. People might laugh at this next part but they already booked a future Wrestlemania in 2027 for the stadium. Those things attract a ton of people for an entire weekend and will bring in a ton of tourist dollars for the city.
