As a UNLV alumni and fan of a team that is 3-0 (best start in program history) to see this asshole do this, mid season is WILD!

Honestly, it might end up being for the best because Sluka was completing only like 47% of his passes and they should have blown out Houston and Kansas rather than the closer games they were.

Rumor has it he was offered more money from another university, went to UNLV and demanded them to match, and when they couldn’t he quit.

NIL going to begin having an in season impact now for these G5 schools.

That's nuts. I like NIL because it's going to disperse talent much more evenly than in the past but these guys should have to stay at a school for two years after they sign as a high school prospect or use the portal.

So people should have less control over where they go to school and how they are compensated because.....?

Your feelings?

Because the sport needs a degree of continuity and out of fairness to the coaches who have to recruit these guys. It's ridiculous that there will be players who play for three or four schools.

Apparently he was promised $100k and they gave him $3k

Sounds like your school is the mess and the assholes

If you think the caliber of play in CFB is good, you might be retarded.  Sure you can get a decent game every now and again but the vast majority are one sided or have no defense

So it's like football at every level? Huh big surprise there.

This is just another "old man yells at cloud" situation.

LOL if you don't know NFL games are far more competitive than CFB or lower levels.....not to mention far better played in the 3 phases.    It's why so many good/great college players completely flop in the pros.

Dude, you don't really have a point. Even NFL isn't competitive in a lot of games. You're just pulling your usual tactic of making a false statement and arguing against a point no one made.

How can you be this old and not realize that's just how sports are at every level.

You think you have some keen insight. You don't.  You just have an overinflated ego.

People can enjoy watching sports, despite whatever the level of competition is,  and that doesn't make anyone retarded. What is retarded is your insistence that only your point of view is valid and everyone else is stupid.

Grow up old man and stop yelling at clouds.
