I saw Metallica on tour for the black album back in 1991 at the Pyramid arena in Memphis and there was no opening act and they played over three hours. I like everything up through 1998 Garage Da

I always wanted to start a metal thread. Share some good metal tunes!   Haiduk kicks it off

I saw Gojira in concert not long ago. It was my first metal concert at a small venue

Metallica is my jam.

This year I've expanded into Mastodon, Lamb of God, Gojira, and some others with not as "clean" vocals.  Recently caught Upon a Burning Body when they opened for Kittie.  Had a great time.

I dig the song you shared.

Nice. I love all Metallica prior to Load.

Lamb of God I enjoy especially Ashes of the Wake.

Glad you dig Haiduk. Fast and packed with riffs.

I'll have to check out Upon a Burning Body. Also, Kittie would be fun to see live.

I swear, Kittie MUST have turned up the volume 'cause I had to step out to the "smoking section" just to give myself a break.   ...And I wore concert earplugs.  They were badass and I like their new album.

I like everything up through 1998 Garage Days Revisited got some good covers. Didn’t like St Anger but I do like Death Magnetic.

My all time fave song is Sanitarium.

A lot of my influences are bands like

AC/DC,Black Sabbath,Judas Priest,Megadeth,Metallica,Pantera,Ozzy,Van Halen,Zeppelin,Kiss,etc

Easy for people now to forget Metallica in 86 with Master of Puppets then 88 with And Justice For All, vs Black Album and after where their popularity almost made them of parody of what they started as.

Miss Pantera.  RIP Dime Bag
