Wrong.  The NFL doesn't give a fuck about Nashville.  They care about money and if one city doesn't pony up they find another.  If the funding didn't happen, the team would have moved.

Where Scine and I disagree, is that I don't think she wanted the deal to collapse at the expense of the franchise but at the expense of Tennessee Titans Fans.

It's waayyyy too fucking early to be all in on Levis. All In on him starting last season because of the team situation is a different story. 
 

That said there's a bunch to be positive about. It also doesn't really seem that fair to judge a rookie who was getting 3rd string reps for half a year in a run first offense that wasn't great at running, had one pass catcher, was possibly the worst pass blocking line we've ever had, and had a coach that doesn't know shit about growing a QB....

He should easily get better on clean pockets and if he doesn't he should be sent off. 
 

As far as turnover worthy passes - he was only throwing ~ 1/3 of a pass more of those per game than Tannehill who was a 15 year vet and got all the practice reps.

I actually said I didn't care where they played many times.  But make no mistake I would have enjoyed seeing the team move mainly to lose the most retarded local fan base in the country in the divorce.

The fact that I don't think he's done enough to warrant that is immaterial to any outcome but it's what I think and since this is a message board I think it's the appropriate place to express what I think. Each individual poster can decide how much of a shit they give. A wait and see approach is exactly what I'm advocating for regarding Levis. My concern, is that I feel like they've already made a decision.

I'm not taking up for anyone. This isn't some agenda play and I think I've been pretty clear about what my concerns are. This is about football, not TR palace intrigue. I only mentioned Bud being labeled a Levis hater to illustrate the point I was making.

I don't think the team is that far in but ownership/leadership grasps how important QB play is and that the best chance to succeed is with an offensive minded QB friendly coach.  And for Levis, that's also his best chance to succeed too.  

 

Time will tell whether it succeeds or not.

I think you're completely incorrect on that front but fair enough. We've all taken issue with Levis in one way or another. I was trolling the Tannestans quite a bit during that time, and enjoyed it, but even I said he has to get better in a lot of areas. He has the talent, but if he doesn't do something about his footwork and decision making then the highlight throws make him the Bizzaro Mariota.

The good thing is that they're not financially committed. The hope is that as quickly as they've decided he is the guy, they can decide that he's not the guy and make the necessary adjustments. My concern exists simply because we don't really know any of these people of how they might handle such a situation. I'd like to think they'd handle things appropriately but you never really know until it happens.

If the team doesn't tank then Levis is the QB in 2025.
