For any one citing Todd Heap, let’s just run down how that situation was justified mocking:

1. He was doing motivational speaking about how he overcame his act of terrible parenting that caused him to kill his child.  Fuck Todd Heap.

2. The accident was while he was driving an absurdly over sized pickup truck.  These vehicles are notoriously unsafe around children, yet people still drive them because they think it makes them cool.  Often it’s not their own kids they kill, but pedestrians.  Fuck those drivers.

3. It pissed off pompous Baltimore Ravens fans.  Fuck the Ravens.

None of these factors are in play in the post in question, so yes I personally think it’s in bad taste.

I wouldn't say I'm offended, but also don't find it funny

This post actually shows why IMO. It's offensive just for the sake of being offensive. There's nothing funny or smart, it's just something you know will make people made so it makes you happy. That just makes you an asshole lol

This is correct. If the only purpose is to offend then it isn't funny, at least in my book.

Don't fall back on old threads to justify a new one. Any joke that needs to be explained isn't a good one.

I totally missed that part of the tweet where she said she cannot lose her child.  Interesting wording.

Well so far she's been able to go on a bunch of trips, go to a bunch of games, and had her house completely renovated.  I'd guess that all goes away unless she loaded the sick kid up with a ton of life insurance.  :)

Can we construe that to be an offer?

There's a far better chance of this kid recovering fully than what's his name avoiding grammar mistakes or me not posting.....and this kid's chances from what I read are like the Titans playoff chances......

Apparently the young lad has all kinds of issues - neurogenetic disease, immune disorder, Crohn’s disease, QB Evaluation.....

I'm rooting for the little guy to make it but that framed Mariota jersey makes it much harder.....

@BudsOilers your parents totally screwed up in their upbringing. I definitely wouldn't want to be in your shoes. And you are doing the worst thing that you can do right now - making fun of other people and trying to justify your post. Better ask for some help (if you have friends or family). Good luck

Thanks for the 3rd world psychobabble.   Parents were wonderful and had great senses of humor too.  Remember, if you can't laugh at yourself, make fun of others!
