I'll give you points for sticking to your guns, still not going to happen. We would theoretically be able to trade him this year, for 40mil in dead cap.... Next year? We would save 2mil but eat 20 in dead cap. The first year it realistically could happen is 2026 where we save 16mil with 9.5 in dead cap. All that said, I seriously doubt Ran would trade or cut his first major contract while he is still a top 10 player at his position especially on a relatively team friendly contract. Simmons could possibly get another contract from us if he plays well.
