BudsOilers
Visual illustration of the roster as of now. Ourlads was the initial source but they have some guys in wrong spots. I also split out TE into Y and F since they are different positions. Very clear this will be an offensive driven remainder of the offseason - in terms of the draft primarily but also the third wave of FA and trade market. Red illustrates help needed badly. Yellow is a questionable/replaceable starter or zero depth.
Sargo
We have so many holes. It’s crazy people think this team can compete.

Which is why they are far more likely to trade down and accumulate more picks than trade their first 2 picks to move up for a player....

I hope you’re right. This needs to be the move.
Guest
Thanks for this post. With the FA WR market starting to become more clear, I'd love to see us add a veteran or two to compete with the inevitable high level rookie we draft. We also desperately need to sign a FA TE. We rely a lot on those players and will be counting on Rader to take a massive step forward.
BudsOilers
The FA WR and TE markets are pretty weak. TE probably has more meat on the bone FA wise at this point but the draft is deeper there than in years. WR - still watching the Jets situation with Davis as he'd be an obvious plug and play piece if the draft fails to bring a starting outside WR. ctm
A complete TE would help immensely.
FireInTheHole
Honestly, a few moves and some leaps forward by second year players, and it’s not as bad as one might think. There’s potential, but the o-line needs to be shored up.

BudsOilers
Also interested to see if they bring Hilliard back. There's been zero news on that front.

I've been wondering about that. He's a good player we've developed. I don't see why we wouldn't bring him back.

I agree with that, but Tannehill can do some damage if he has protection. Again - that’s assuming the second year guys make some leaps forward. Justafan
WR or two, TE or two, OL or two, coverage ILB/hybrid Safety, outside corner. They definitely still have some real work to do to make you feel like they are contenders.

Protection comes first imo unless they project Dilliard to at least be serviceable at LT.
