He’s not worth the tender, but he wouldn’t be the first guy who didn’t get tendered as a RFA but ended up re-signing anyway. We’ll see…

The Titans need to retain Adeniyi. Different story than Cruikshank - who actually could be viewed as a borderline starter. Adeniyi is a career backup and core STer.

I see Cruik going to the lions. They love to take our rotation guys and our scrubs and turn them into starters

No, but it’s $10M you don’t have to come up with later for draft picks, practice squad, etc

Your right back where you started if you cut Julio with having no weapons at wr and relying on rookies or bargain barrell free agents

I wouldn’t be in any rush to cut him if they don’t sign a replacement or draft a guy in round 1

Even if they draft a wr that leaves you with AJ and a rookie unknown, I would rather have Julio/aj/rookie and nwi than just aj/rookie/nwi

Only 3 rookies broke 1000 years last year: Chase, Waddle, Pitts

All 3 went top 6 in the NFL draft.  Smith almost broke 1000, but went top 10.  Next on the list is Brown from the Lions who went in the 4th.  Everyone else was low 500's or less

Not sure we are getting anyone at pick 26 or later that's going to be a huge contributor in year one, especially in the type of offense we run.  Best bet is to retain Julio (if the hamstring checks out) and add another solid veteran.  Year two is usually the sweet spot for wide receiver production.  Obviously, their are exceptions like our own AJ Brown who had a solid rookie year.

I have faith in Jrob picking just about every position except OT. But you're right about receivers. Actually rare to hit good production year 1. Ditto for CBs.

I know it's needed, but I loathe the idea of another first round OT.  Would rather see a top OG/C depending what we do with Saffold and Jones.  Wouldn't hate WR, just wouldn't expect much production in year one.

Another one of those overhyped UDFA that the messageboard goes crazy over but turns out to be a stiff...
