I didn't even get to watch the game other than the first five drives that were all punts. Anyway, sure, too funny blah blah blah and maybe I should skip watching more games. Jamalisms Posted January 5, 2022 Author Report Share Posted January 5, 2022 Anyway, one relevant thing that stood out from the splits is that the offense is certainly way worse without AJ Brown and Derrick Henry. But it's still notably worse without just Henry but with AJB (5 PPG, etc) and, my opinion, it's rather odd some still pretend this isn't true or meaningful. Secondly, I'd note that rushing w/out Henry is way down, except when AJB is also out. Then it's actually up. When both are out, the Titans reverted to a rush first offense and lost 2 of 3 gms, beating only Jacksonville. Notably, they averaged over 190 rushing yards in those three games (235+ in losses) ... and defenses didn't care. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Pretty much. Henry gets the benefit of playing with AJB in almost every game, whereas AJB has played a good bit without Henry and so it gets muddy if you just want to set those side by side ... but, yeah ... fair summary. Yet make every excuse in the world why he isnt performing up to his 2019-2020 standards. This roster is so bad that it's a 11-5 roster with a QB thats only thrown for 17 TDs with 14 INT. Lol. Jamalisms Posted January 5, 2022 Author Report Share Posted January 5, 2022 I added AJ Brown splits last week to disprove the idea that with / without AJ Brown is meaningful and prices something while with / without Henry is nonsense. In fact, the AJ Brown splits are less clear-cut and the stats without Henry but with AJ Brown are still a big change. It's still quite obviously all about showing Henry's effect.
