Why is Kuharsky pissing on Vrabel over Succup?

This was Mariota's 2018. A putrid second half of the season. PK picking on the kicking situation is low hanging fruit. He should be picking on whoever decided not to hold a camp battle for the QB1 job, especially after these performances after the by week.

Why wasn't PK raging like this over Mariota pissing down his leg for 6 straight weeks?

This is a lot more clear cut and ditching a kicker is no where near as monumental as benching a guy who was the face of your franchise for 4 years.  There is no excuse; they've botched the kicking situation royally and it's directly cost us at least 2 wins. This is absurd and I don't know how a blind spot like this develops.

Yeah I get it...and I agree, but everyone with eyes could tell it was time to give Mariota his hanging rope.

There was at least some kind of appetite to move on, otherwise they wouldn't have signed Tannehill.

Both were horrible, self induced decisions that have cost the 2019 team 3 or 4 wins.  The media should hold the team accountable just as the fans should.

Instead of talking about resting players because the division and first round bye is locked up, we are hoping that the fucking Jets beat a Steeler team playing a third string QB.  All because the Titans sabotaged their own team through bull headed idiocy.

Putting pressure on the FO over the Mariota debacle is warranted but it's not going to create a time machine that the FO can use to undo the Mariota decision. PK (and the rest of the media if they grow a pair) publicly shaming the FO into making a change that can help us alleviate the Mariota mistake by getting us into the playoffs.

They brought in the former Dallas kicker last week.  So they know there's an "issue" here.  Just make the move,  and cut Succop and Santoso.  It's not that hard.  The money is a sunk cost anyway.

IMO, the Mariota decision is an off-season discussion and certainly a valid one to have. That said, diving into that discussion does absolutely nothing for the team right now. Getting the staff to ditch Succoup may very possibly have a tangible effect on actual points in the upcoming contests that can help alleviate the damage that rolling with Mariota did. It's no contest to me in terms of which conversation is more pertinent.

20.9 M guaranteed on the worst starting QB in football.

15 M plus on Walker for the last two years

12.6 M in dead money for guys like Kline, Cyprien, Urban, Grassu, Santos, Dodd, Gabbert, etc.

Maybe eating 4.5 M in dead money on a contract you did a year ago for Succop looks worse with that lens.....

Agree although most of the media ACTUALLY think the team handled it well ??
