Why do people want Whiteside? Isn’t everyone calling for more speed?

More consistency. And Whiteside can literally use his basketball skills and box out defenders. Ridiculous in the RZ.

When you eyeball the names left of the board there is some really enticing talent still available, going to be torture sitting waiting and seeing some of these OL go before we pick at 51.

Don't think it will happen but if Risner or McCoy somehow gets to 45 JRob should continue his annual draft tradition and trade away the 4th round pick to go up and get them, he can recoup the 4th by trading back in the 3rd round.

I actually think McCoy could be there at #51.  Not sure how many teams need a C/G.  The run on secondary players + WR should help us there.

On the NFLN Rapoport just mentioned that McCoy could be the player the Jets are targeting in this huge move up they are trying to make.

Which source to trust then?  Tony Pauline says edge rusher and not C.

Who would be the pass rusher though Winovich/Ferguson/Walker/Nelson?

Probably Ferguson.  He had incredible production, though I question whether he has the athletic traits to be elite at the next level.

Polite maybe as well.

The bad 3 cone number just sticks out in such a negative way for me.

I agree on Polite. Definitely could be one to watch. The poor man Brian Burns conciliation prize. People treat him like a 3rd or 4th round pick now, and maybe he is, but the Titans have obviously spent good time with him.

They probably can't afford to take Polite unless it's late rounder after taking Simmons--too many questions.

I don't think they'd actually draft Polite anyway, I think their interest was likely just getting a true read on the player.
