So someone did steal money from her but because she didn't press charges then that was somehow part of the scheme? There's a DM of someone apologizing for the crime, that we know was committed, and thanking her for not pressing charges, which we know is true, and that's also evidence against her?

Only halfway paying attention, I admit that sounds pretty weak compared to how you're discussing it. I'm certain you're following it closer than me so what am I missing? Does she have a history or ... what?

I'm at the WSOP.  There were 7,761 entries, I cashed for close to 5K.  It was amazing this time.  This was my second Millionaire Maker.  I practiced and studied for two months.  My problem somewhat is

I just played the WSOP Millionaire Maker in Vegas, knocked out 2nd day 265th place, win $5990.  There were 7,275 entries.  I played with some top professionals, I didn't know any of them.  The photogr

OK.  Ready to talk about it.  I got knocked out day one.   I didn't get very many good hands.  I had two nice pots that would have put me back over the 50K starting stack and I played both very well.

The guy who stole the 15k also works for The Hustler, he had access to the hole cards. A common theory is that he didn’t steal the 15k, it was payment for being in on the scheme, which she originally wasn’t pressing charges for stealing the 15k. Why?

In the DM she posted it was pointed how the matching writing styles to the point of being super convincing she wrote it herself. She wrote “wouldn’t not” in her response and his alleged DM, there were other things too.

The DM tried to apologize to make the lack of charges believable and went to extremes to point how she was innocent

She gave the 100k back to the alleged victim and the guy who “stole” 15k from her was the person who could help her cheat and she forgave him instantly

Pretty suspicious

Why would she pay him by having him covertly take a chip instead of just ... paying him?

One theory I saw was after the shit hit the fan and she was talking about giving the money back he knew he had to get his money right then, once it's made public he's not getting his money.

It's a televised game and so why would he steal it period, on camera

Or like @Titans_Win_Again said, could have been just theft.

Almost everyone involved has a criminal record, including running scams etc.... no honor among thieves and all that

Chopped the Saturday deep stack at Winstar 7 handed yesterday for 2884.00. We played 9 handed for like 1.5 hours

I had right under 400k and blinds were 5k-10k....

Right before the chop chip leader makes it 30k under the gun, short stack goes all in for 70k, I call with QQ(I don't wanna get tied up with chip leader). So it goes back to chip leader and he shoves all in for more than what I have. I fold and he rolls over KK. It was essentially a 2k fold, we chopped right after

Great fold. Even though it's the obvious move it's still a great play to smooth call and fold instead of raising to protect the queens and then having the discipline to lay down. At best you're in a coin flip against AK.

What did the shove have? Something g like 7s-10s or was it an AJ AQ?

He may have just been stealing from her knowing that she won't press charges because she's involved in something illegal. Like robbing a drug dealer.

This sounds about right. It really was the strangest hand I've ever seen. She even admitted she put him on a bluff but said she thought he had ace high (flush draw with clubs). It's simply impossible to call with jack high even if you put your opponent on a pure bluff.

I believe it was something like 99, I can't recall now

Confession.  Bad Play.

I'm playing a top 10% tournament that pays all top 10% the same prize.  1K.  I'm kicking ass after slow start.  One spot, two players All In.  I have A9ss.  I lose over half my stack if I call.  I had opened, I fold.  I would have tripled up almost.  I'm playing poker.  I stay in 4th-1st out of 18 players.  I go into final table in second.  I had a playable hand and called a short stack.  Big stack shoves, I have to fold.  Now, I'm in 3rd.

Big stack shoves every hand to finish it.  Nobody bites.  I'm sitting with #3 stack.  I get a good hand, BS shoves on me.  MF.  I'm still good in 3-5 place.  Finally a short stack busts out.  Game is still going.  Pays eight.  Seven get 1K.  One gets 300.  I'm still in decent shape.

Short stack calls the BS shove and doubles up.  Now, has almost as much as me.  Blinds are going up.  I can't last another orbit, I'll blind out.  If neither of us plays, he blinds out almost same as me.  I get a playable shove.  Win the damn $300.

Just got too relaxed and didn't study the leaderboard.  Before the final table, all the stacks were big.  Usually you can fold to the money.  Confession.  I didn't do the math and got into some hands that would only hurt by losing.  I should have just folded to the money.

That's essentially a Satellite tournament, totally different strategy. You can't be calling all ins then folding to reshoves, you have to just fold and preserve your stack. Any pot you play should be an open shove in which you are first. Getting in the top 7 is all that matters.
