9 Nines
It will eventually dawn on the White House that it can deliver two things President Trump would want: 1) end Russian probe and 2) blame another person for his own error, by firing Jeff Session over the made-up reason of the zero tolerance policy. I just know all he wants is to look good. He doesn’t care about any issue (except maybe the tariffs). All he needs is an out

Zero tolerance isn't the problem it is if they had the resources to expedite these cases and return children to their parents after resolution. Fine, end the lawlessness but be prepared to handle the ramifications. Because for people like Stephen Miller and Jeff Sessions, this isn't a bug, it's a feature. This is exactly what these people wanted.Dealing with these situations in a speedy manner that produces as little pain as possible is the moral thing to do but they don't want morality, they want a deterrent. They want to cause pain to the illegals that they feel have so wronged them and are "ruining" this country. Trump may not have seen it coming so I'm cautiously giving him the benefit of the doubt but he has to resolve this quickly and humanely.

ctm
Trump said just a few moments ago that he doesn't want more immigration judges which is what Cruz is proposing. More judges would move the process quicker. One other thing. Not all of the people involved at the border are illegal. Many are there to apply for asylum. There is a reason we keep hearing about people from Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador. That's where the gangs and crime are the worst and people are fleeing for their lives. Not all, but some. The saddest part is that much of this could be taken care of by ending the war on drugs and legalizing marijuana. Guess who opposes that? Oh yeah, the right. SOme have applied for asylum, been given the paperwork, answered the paperwork, turned it into the officials, and then arrested and children taken away. In other words, fully followed the process to get arrested.

OILERMAN
Polling shows even Trump supporters don’t want him firing the parties involved. They are instead trying to discredit the final findings. This hasn’t worked well so far.

First with kids who registered under DACA, then with kids traveling with their parents.
