league wide FA moves have not been kind to our chances of addressing our biggest need with pick 25

problem is that player could be a C/G/RB.

the lack of the usual number of 1st round worthy WR/OT this year doesn't help our cause, also Maurice Hurst's heart condition takes out another guy who would of likely gone before pick 25.

the way JRob has completely ignored ILB in FA much like he did with RT/WR/CB in his first two drafts, could be seen as an indication he would prefer to fill the ILB spot in the first round.

This isn’t really true for this position. Williamson was drafted in the fifth. Finding a two down thumper isn’t hard. That might be what we have to settle for.

don't want another 2 down run stuffing ILB, time to get with the modern NFL, we need to get a sideline to sideline 3 down ILB that isn't a liability in coverage.

Can’t have it all. There are very few linebackers who fit this mold.

They're not insiders, but have to wonder if they've been hearing something about what direction we're looking to go in.

Wyatt usually lays it out plain as day. I know hes not taken seriously here but i take what he says seriously. Still says we are gonna add a RB in the draft, just dont have to in the first two rounds now since we added Lewis.

1)Do not trade up.

2)It would be a mistake to take need over BPA.

3) JR has not proven to be a smart drafter, he has no patience,he reaches and he over spends..He has to get his act together.

Can you at least give the guy three years after taking over a destitute roster? This will be the first year we have a legitimate roster since 2008. He’s done one hell of a job of filling a ton of holes and instituting a culture that didn’t leave with the decrepit gang.

Kelly would be perfect in the fifth. He’s a larger less shifty version of Lewis.

They mentioned him. And it was reported we spent some time with him at UTs pro day.

Perfect fits are guys we talked to already

Mark Walton

Chase Edmonds

Hines Nc State -Lafleur put him through RB drills

Kelly - at UT pro day

I haven’t seen any of the others. I remember you saying Hines is a Lewis clone. Are those guys projected after the third?
