If the deal has not already been decided this series will make them want to come here. The Predators couldn't have done any more to help a potential franchise. Nashville is a hockey town more than plenty other comparable "small" cities by a long shot. The preds have shown that Nashville just as a whole rally behind whatever is going on, especially sports. I'm thinking of moving at the end of the year and Nashville is one of the cities I am looking at but that is pretty much just because the sports and city culture. I don't think I can move to TN though because I hate hot weather and don't mind dealing with snow (looking at Minneapolis, Anchorage, Denver and Seattle)... along with Southern culture and the bible belt being a major knock in my eyes. Which is a shame because being a sports fanatic is such an important aspect of my life.

The friggin' puck was still rolling on it's side. a) They should have never blown the whistle that quickly and b) they could have and should have reviewed it. It was the Staley Cup Final for God's sake. Apparently you can review the play if no one else touches the puck. As soon as Sissons touched it it isn't reviewable. But yeah I honestly can't think of a worse call I've ever seen in sports. I'm sure there are a couple that are close or even, but it's tough to beat that bullshit. oldschool
I disagree the idea the Pens outplayed the Preds most of the series. Like I said after game one, Preds fans became aware of what the Eastern conference has known for the past few years. The Pens don't care about puck possession, offensive zone time, or number of shots. They counter attack and make the most of every opportunity. There is a reason they are back to back Champs and have won 3 times in 7 years.
TitanLegend
I worry about Rinne. He was incredible for the most part in the playoffs(Playing in Pittsburgh is apparently kryptonite to him, but he struggled on the road compared to home overall), but he had a meh-regular season leading up to that. You're obviously not going to go out and replace a guy that just did what he did in our playoff run, but you do have to start planning for long term. Otherwise the team is set up really well for the future and should be a contender for a while assuming Rinne returns to his usual regular season form or we find a long term goalie. It's like a QB and probably even more important because there simply aren't those guys that dominate on Brodeur or Roy's level year in and year out. I get the concern but very rarely do you replace Brett Favre with Aaron Rodgers and it work out well. The only person I can think of like that the past few years has been Lundqvist and even he is nowhere near the caliber anymore of those great QBs that can single handedly dominate consistently.
