"And while donors to the Eric Trump Foundation were told their money was going to help sick kids, more than $500,000 was re-donated to other charities, many of which were connected to Trump family members or interests, including at least four groups that subsequently paid to hold golf tournaments at Trump courses."

A story like this would be devastating to any other politician. Trump voters won't even notice and the ones who do won't care. Crazy.

Why should they, when the other choice was corrupt Hillary?

It's more likely that the ones who notice are cheering him on.

Piece wasn't written with credibility in mind. A complete hit piece, not a true news story trying to find the truth. Also, I doubt there is a better dirt digger than the Clinton Machine. How did they not dig this up?

Obviously if true, it's bad. I seriously doubt it is, doesn't pass the sniff test.

It's Forbes: a more right leaning publication. This isn't the Huffington Post.

Did people really vote for this guy?

Yes and it is a testament to the electorate's dissatisfaction with the DC establishment.  The writing was on the wall with Obama.  Even so, Democrats failed to see it.  Republicans failed to see it, as evidenced by President Trump.

Trump's core supporters are just anti-PC gravitating towards anyone that would say whatever whenever so long as what is being said aligned with their beliefs.  He had them fully and early, and they didn't care about anything else.

The supporters that gave him the victory are the regular folks so disenfranchised by the system, they were willing to vote Trump, hoping that deep down he really gave a shit about them.

The rest fell in line like good Republicans, although a few stayed home as Trump won with 47 percent of the vote.

It's that second group of people most puzzling, yet understood.  Just a hope that this non-politician understood their plight.  Understandable.  The puzzling part is that a born wealthy billionaire had any inkling at all as to their world.  Really, it was just a desperation that someone else outside career politicians would actually care about them.

I have little doubt Bernie would have won.  The difference in Trump and Bernie is that Bernie actually does care about the little guy's plight.

The Republican primary was even funnier, how fast were Jeb Bush and the establishment Republicans thrown out of the race?

That's fine.

The only real question I can ask people that voted for Trump.  How do they sleep at night?

You had two things that won the victory for Trump.  Hillary Clinton and the fact people are fed up with the BS establishment.  If Trump is the 2nd most horrific human being on earth he is still one person better than that bitch Hillary.  You libtards need to look in the mirror.

Trump is a worse person than Hillary and retarded to boot

If the country as a whole (including conservatards) did a lot of looking in the mirror, we'd be a lot better off.
