@Mythos27, so if tajae Sharpe and Corey Davis are both running the same deep route and they are at the exact same yard line when the ball leaves Mariota's hand, you want him to throw the EXACT same ball even though it probably would sail a little on Sharpe and be incomplete?

I want him to throw the ball to the spot he's supposed to throw it to. It's now the receiver's job to get to his spot and make the catch.That's why they're professional receivers and get paid handsomely to do it. If the receiver can't consistently get to his spot, replace him with someone who can. 

Now my turn. Rishard Matthews is going deep downfield. He's got half a step but Patrick Peterson is in pretty good position. Do you want Marcus to lead Rishard down the field, and away from Peterson though it might lead to an "over-throw" or do you want him to take velocity off the ball and allow Peterson back into the play?

I'd rather the ball not be intercepted. The risker Mariota wants to be with it the better, I'll trust his judgement. But I'm fully aware though that if the leading him a bit too much cuz he's too slow and  can't be caught that the ball isn't an "overthrow" (as if the quotes mean anything)... It's just a straight up overthrow. You don't seem to be able to agree on that last sentence.
