JRob appears to not understand that there is a generic aisle in the grocery store-you know, where homeless R. Webster is sitting down on the floor in a yellow pool of stink playing with white cans that say "LOCKER" and "WARMACK" in bold black letters while fat zombie tommy boy is snacking down on Bud's dead corpse. No, No, this guy picks up AAS on the way to the store and they happily walk hand in hand straight to the aisle with the brand names, fresh produce, and fine wine. While they're there, JRob haggles with the mustached, sunglass wearing manager and basically robs him on a two for one deal of filet mignon and a rare bottle of bold cabernet. It is obvious to everyone that the talent level over the last two years has been enhanced ten fold. The ownership and GM are doing what appears to be a bang up job which means the buck moves somewhere else now. Mike Mularkey, in hindsight, had a great excuse for not being successful and to be given a chance to succeed. I'm sure JRob informed AAS that this team was almost devoid of talent when he came in which further ingrained her initial reaction to give him a chance. There are still holes to be filled on the roster and obviously still some talent to upgrade, but it's now the head coaches job to take all these expensive groceries and put together a meal for us fans to have some fine dining for a while. I've had enough shepherds pie and shit on a shingle. Somebody tell Mularkey I like my filet mignon rare and my wine in a fluted glass. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't think he has disappointed so far at all, but if the team is not successful it falls squarely on him now vs. him having the excuse of no talent on the team. I think we get to see Mularkey's full coaching potential now. This is by far the most talent he's ever had in any head coaching stint he's ever had. IMO if we aren't playoff eligible until at least the same calendar point as last year he needs to go, if he goes under .500 in the division he probably needs to go. Can you just give it up and admit there were games where Mariota didn't look all that great, made a few bone-headed mistakes and was inconsistent at times. So much talent has been added I'm excited to see the kids develop. I think Mularkey will do fine, hes a proven offensive mind when he has a QB. No, but you obviously think he was good enough to win every single game this season and the losses fell only on Mularkey. Players matter in the outcome of games, believe it or not...
