HOTT
We are talking about CJs ypc right? 3.4 No parade yet!
Jamalisms
Yeah, those are his monthly averages (in order) for sep, oct, and nov. (3.8 on the year now) It will be interesting to see what Dec brings with a schedule of games we should win. This month will likely determine his/our future. For the first time this season, CJ is on pace for 1,000... barely... which is nice, but proof of the non-relevancy of that threshold in today's NFL. T-RAC
8.17 ypc. I plotted that bitch.
NoD
Carolina and Tampa are arguably the two worst run D's in the league, so I'm not turning cartwheels yet. Let's see him put together two (or more) good weeks in a row. Or a good game against a good D.
reo
Is it bad that i was looking for some mathmatical trend for a good 30s before reading on and realizing what he was talking about?

Well Cj was 14/34 2.4 vs the Colts 31st ranked run D week 8 so I don't see Car or TB being too much worse. Combine that w/ the fact that ringer was 9/12 vs the same TB D and the same OL yesterday and you've got reason for optimisim.

He should carve up the Bills and Colts D and if the Titans can hang with the Saints for a few quarters, theirs as well. Honestly, the only teams the Titans should have trouble running on from here on out, are the Jags and Texans. I suspect CJ will finish around 1200 yards and a ypc of 4 when it's all said and done. Number9
Is it bad that i was looking for some mathmatical trend for a good 30s before reading on and realizing what he was talking about? I spent 2mins trying to make mathematical sense out of it.

Jamalisms
I'm thinking (hoping?) CJ does well enough here at the end to get his ypc up to 4.0 or better, and he breaks 1,000 yards. If that can be managed, I think we win a decent bit down the stretch and stay relevant in the playoff hunt until the end. It also makes him more saleable if we trade him... and/or it raises hopes for next year if we keep him. Either way, that's a positive. So, I'd say the next number in the sequence, his December average, will be something like 4.5. Book it Danno.
reo
he only needs 300 yds to pass 1k. I'm hoping for something along the lines of 1200 honestly.
Jamalisms
Well he's on pace for 1,016 or something, and even with a solid average in November, he / the run game produced the Atlanta result. There is no guarantee, at all, on 1,000 yards.
nine
I was going to create a separate thread that would have tied in with this subject....but since there are already plenty of CJ threads, I'll just put it here. I checked the average YPC for all 32 defense in the league, and looked at the remainder of the Titans' schedule to see how each opponent holds up against the run. Here are the results: Buffalo: 4.5 YPC / #23 New Orleans: 5.2 YPC / #31 Indianapolis: 4.2 YPC / #14-tie Jacksonville: 4.0 YPC / #9 Houston: 4.2 YPC / #14-tie Also, for the sake of comparison....here are the YPC rankings for the last three defenses the Titans have faced: Carolina: 4.8 YPC / #26-tie Atlanta: 3.7 YPC / #5 Tampa Bay : 4.8 YPC / #26-tie Judging by the quality of competition, I'd say the outlook looks fairly favorable for CJ over the next few weeks. The question now is whether he's really back, or if yesterday's game was a mirage.

There is no guarantee, at all, on 1,000 yards. There's no guarantee but 300 yds over the course of the next 5 games isn't something I'm hoping for either. I'm shooting for something a little higher. 1200 is a good goal imo, not easy but do-able.
