Perhaps this cements the retirement but he did say it

Of course Cassel wants to keep playing. It's a great gig. Backup QBs don't usually retire unless no one wants them. Another superfreak gem. The question is where did he read it?

Hell yeah. Cassel is probably making more than most guys on the team. Whitehurst was making what? 4 mil?
