Keeping an Eye on Rams Draft Pick

If the rams don't win another game, I think we end up in the 4 spot. I think they jump the bears and jets. No way they jump the jags, fourtyniners, or browns. I think 4 is a good spot. I see Garrett an 2 QBs at 1-3, which would leave us with a trade or Allen. I just hope J Rob takes care of our major needs in FA so that we can be flexible.

Bad news, folks.

Titans really need to make that pick from the Rams count...because I'm pretty sure they're gonna end up with the #32 draft slot.

if the Titans earned the 32nd pick, i'm sure no one would care about the Rams pick because they all would be drunk until draft time celebrating.

I didn't notice that there is a "Toilet Bowl" game we should be paying attention to next week: Jets vs 49ers.  Root for the Jets.

Titans fans need to root for the Jets to win out.  This would not only help the Titans' draft position, it would also shoot a big hole in the wildcard hopes of the Colts, Dolphins, and Bills and allow the Titans to get into that picture as well.

A Jets win tonight would move the Rams pick to #5.

Looking at the records and remaining schedules, I think the #4 pick is probably the best case scenario. Rams aren't going to "catch" the Browns, 49ers, or Jags. Most likely scenario is #6 or #7. Top 10 is nearly a lock.

Schefter was just saying that Falcons Julio Jones and Jake Matthews might miss the game against the Rams, Jones has turf toe and Matthews knee sprain.

losing your star WR and your LT and travelling out to LA would make the job that little bit more difficult.

so if everyone wins out and the rams lose out we could still technically get the #1 yeah?

looks like best case scenario is still around #3... if the rams lose out and the jags win a couple it could happen.

Jags have 6 one score losses this year and have statistically a very good defense, problem is they have got absolutely nothing from Bortles when the game is on the line.

if we lose to the Broncos and Chiefs it might actually be beneficial to us to lose to the Jags if we can't make the playoffs.

I think this quite likely consider who the QB is for Clev, SF and Chi now.

has been reports that the Browns like Trubisky and the Bears Kaaya.

nothing out there on the 49ers but Watson would fit in that system.

question is whether any of them will pull the trigger on a QB with Garrett/Allen on the board.

thats a pretty crazy thought but yeah, the quickest way to nowhere is 8-8. you either gotta suck ass or never give up a win to get anywhere in this league.

as a sophomore in high school our coach realized we would suck so he benched the seniors and started all of us freshmen/sophomores... we got our shit kicked every game. but by the time we were seniors we beat the fuck out of everyone in the state and won it all. maybe thats skewed my thoughts on what it means to win.. or takes to win.. but i saw first hand that it can work.

so to me, losing out after the playoffs are mathematically eliminated while starting guys who need experience is the smartest and best way to turn it around. it would be refreshing to have a coach willing to admit that and go that route. other leagues do it all the time... not in the NFL though.

mularkey wont do it of course and i wont hate him for that. but i wont be mad if we lose ( i will however rip him a new one if its obvious we are trying to win and he fucks it up with bad coaching and/or pounding murray into the ground for no reason... c'est la vie)

Bears got Floyd so they wont......SF already has two good DL and Browns have no QB and their DE are not too bad........I see the browns trading with a team like the Jets or Jags.  Both need a QB and I think the ND QB will get some one hard.

Still cant believe HAckenberg went to Jets in two.  Somebody is getting fired for that.  I think Bortles is done in Jax.
