I'll always feel like any marginally positive results are fools gold under Mularkey. We can do better.

All you care about is winning right?

I didn't vote in the pole.  I was OK with the hire for one reason only and that's stability.  At 3-3 I expect at least 4 more wins and a .500 record in the division.  I'll vote after the colts game, because this should be a win.

Marginal positivity isn't winning.

The team has won as many games six weeks into the season as they did all of last season. Counting the two wins last year he's already won more games than the guy who brought him in here did. And counting only the wins from this season he still has won as many games as Whis did in a season and a half.

So while Mularkey wasn't my first choice, and I've had my issues with the offense, I'd say winning is winning. And we've done more of that this year, by proportion to the rest of the season, than we have in the last two or three years. And what makes it feel like more than just a couple of feel good games is the fact that the team finally seems to be headed in a good, productive direction.

But, but, but, if we had good coaches we would have won 8 games by now!!!!  You're just not seeing the bigger picture.

I get that, but what good is "just winning" if we don't make a playoff run? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we're winning instead of losing, but guys like Mularkey almost always fail their teams fans because they're just not winners by nature. Guys like Jim Zorn, Mike Munchak and Mularkey are losers by nature who have the inclination to cock-tease you just enough to believe in them, only to let you down.

They're like the scorpion who kills the frog going across a river while riding the frogs back. When the frog asked him why he did it and said "now we'll both die," the scorpion replies, "it's my nature."

Mariota's posted QB ratings of 117.5 and 132.6 the past few games. The offense has put up 30 and 28 points. They're improving. How about we show something we have none of called patience before we start firing the OC, QB coach, WR coach?

Those stats and improvement came against 2 of the worst teams in the NFL. Lets see if it can continue.

The Titans need to beat both the Colts and the Jags for me to personally feel like Mularkey is truly moving this franchise in the right direction. I am happy for the two wins, but they were against two really bad teams. There really is no excuse for us to lose to either of these next division games, seriously. We aren't an improved team until we can beat these other AFC South teams. We should have a real shot at 1st or 2nd in the division this year.

Mularkey isn't in the Top 25 of who I wanted as HC, but I think he gets a bad rap as a HC because of his record.

That one lame duck year in Jax makes him look totally incompetent, whereas his Buffalo tenure ranks him as an average coach.

I still maintain he is probably a 2-3 year stopgap/training wheels coach, but he's been OK......he's a 7-9 to 9-7 coach....which is a marked improvement from what we had.
