What about screaming Zika not just at hope solo but evertime our beach volleyball guy served last night? As far as I know he never said anything. Hey and at least our folks all showed up. It's a fact that Zika is a problem in Brazi . Folks just supposed to act like it is the an issue? I am not worried about disrespect or cheering for the underdog. Don't ever rememberseeing this level of jeering and haterism. Esp from a country that we are on good terms with and practically neighbors. Passion is when they go wild for each of their athletes, which is awesome. But when the US is playing Austria in beach Volleyball, for example, and they are yelling "ZIKA!" everytime our guy serves, and going wild for every point scored by Austria, that is total haterism. Passionate haterism, but haterism nonetheless. In other words you can be passionate, without being a total US hater. They certainly aren't hating on any other team or athletes that I have seen. Only US athletes. Seems like a total dickhead thing to do. I mean no jeers for the Russian athletes who shouldn't even be there. That entire program should have been banned due to the doping coming straight from the top. You really don't understand why they are actively rooting against Walsh-Jennings and Ross? It should be obvious. like I said I've spent months in Brazil and they do not hate Americans. Also I've watched way more Olympics this year than in the past and I don't hear all the booing directed at the American teams like you claim. Maybe you are overreacting a tad?
