I'm so uncomfortable with the funny money market we have right now that I'm gonna buy gold and put it in my mattress or something. It's completely disconnected from the actual economy.

I am in a similar boat. I am taking a wait and see approach as I suspect that 2Q/3Q brutal earnings will result in unsustainable P/E...

I was previously in a bond heavy stable value fund; however, I question if the bonds will suffer substantial losses as many previously solid companies struggle in the upcoming ~2 quarters...

So I elected to forgo the previously stable 2.5% annual return and sit tight for a bit in cash.

I am currently more concerned with deflation over the short-medium haul than inflation. However,  in the 2-5 year window inflation risk is very concerning.

None of us knows what is going to happen. We each play it the way we see it.

Good luck to us all!

Only up a measly 1% so far today, is this some kind of slow down?

We need Trump to tear gas some citizens or threaten marshal law to get this thing humming again!

The damned rich ass 1%ers are saying "Not bad, we're up 1% for the day, we just made another 1 million bucks!" lol
