You'll have to clarify what you mean. Like move a player in the 2017 season, but make the deal now? You can trade future picks, but I'm not sure we want to get into moving players on a futures basis. Basically, I was looking to lock in on I'll trade you a 2017 pick for X player, effective after the season. That way someone keeps the player this year while waiting for the pick to be useful... but I get to lock into a player I think will be worth more by the time the trade is effective. IIRC you basically get an unlimited amount of time. FYI I have been out of town and tomorrow is a travel day for me. So my picks might take a little longer than usual.
