A should scope is not like a knee scope.........Agent was livid about the back ground. Stuff the media never reported because when you spend 25-30 million branding yourself as the go to.".....".......well lots gets buried by people who do what is best for the team and no one else. Polian said in his book the biggest headache he had as Carolina's GM was deciding which hospital to use, he said it was btwn 2 & there was a ton of politics involved
Bongo59
There is so much about this angle of pro football.......y'all don't know. JPP last year case in point. He avoided the NYG docs until he had too.......and they rescinded his Franchise tag.

Bongo59
When they saw the injury was not that big a deal.......they save 5 million and got JPP for 10.5. JPP's agent told NYG they did not trust their hand guy and that was that. JPP did the right thing in my view. He'll have no issues based upon who he went to and what they did to get him right. I don't care how the game is played. If I don't trust the doctor, I won't let him work on me. I don't doubt that the patriots soured on him because he didn't want to do what the doctors said. That could be true. All I'm saying is I don't blame the guy for doing what he feels is right for his body. It's his, and he only has one. All the incidents you are mentioning, I don't see how anyone could blame him if he didn't trust a team doctor.

I had a feeling there was an issue with the doctors, the Giants were putting it out there that he was avoiding them. I live in this area & there's issues with all the teams, especially the Mets. Guys like Carlos Beltran developed a severe distrust for the team docs.
