Between DGB and Delanie and Jones, we can force DCs to pick their poison too. Do you think Dalton sees the field better than Marcus will?
kyle021
I much rather Jones than Matthews, but Matthews isn't far behind Jones either... Matthews is a solid WR... Not gonna set any records, but is reliable and a playmaker..... Jones is a stud... Athletic freak, big, fast, and runs good routes and has good hands... Was a 3rd option in that offense behind AJ Green and Eifert... Could flourish in an offense where he would see #2 targets...

Why waste on a #3 WR

Signing Jones just because he costs more is silly, especially if the difference between he and Matthews isn't that much.

Why waste on a #3 WR Other than possibly durability, what does Matthews offer that Jones doesn't? He ran a 4.62 40 at the combine, he doesn't have the height to beat decent sized corners to the catch, he's never been great after the catch and he's never produced at the level Jones has. Starkiller
Jones is a better big play threat, but I think Matthews is more consistent.
socaljake
Don't think this would be a major upgrade, but we need depth. I like it more than Jones

Can def be a #2 Really exactly what we needed, a strong, tough, professional WR who runs good routes & can catch.

And I like him over Jones, frankly. 11 hours ago, Face said: I like him better than Jones as well, good player Sorry guys, but IMO jones is streets ahead of Matthews. Jones is a great receiver who can really do it all.

I asked a couple of my Dolphin fan friends, who obviously aren't the end all be all, but they love him. Perhaps I overstated his case & Jones is better but Matthews is a good WR. Oh, I think he is too, I'm just huge on Marvin Jones. That will be a big loss for the Bengals, he made Dalton's ball placement look good with some outrageous catches last year.
