On one winning team and one losing team. I'm not even sure he's "all that" when it comes to judging NFL coaches. Are you? I get that they hired him to find player talent. Kudos. But to think the guy knows coaching talent because he scouted for Belichick says NOTHING about his ability to find the right coach. Everybody is looking for the next Hoodie wearing genius. His experience, or lack thereof, indicates to me that they were more interested in: A ) His ability to work with a variety of coaching philosophies and personality types. B ) His ability to find the requisite talent that a coach desires, and the ability to hire and work with others to do the same. C ) His smarts, and possibly his connections. From everything I read about the guy, Robinson hasn't been extensively involved with coaching searches and/or hires before, so I suspect him being in the coach's interview room will be more about personality compatibility and interactions than actual choosing.
