Head Coaching Poll

Curious to see where everyone stands as of right now. Given the options, who would you like to see the Titans hire? I've left off some names like Chip Kelly and Sean Payton, who I don't see as options. Same case with Mularkey, who is probably very unlikely to be tabbed as permanent head coach.

Like Kelly or not, he is a definite possibility. I'd say Kelly probably has the third or fourth best chance of anyone for the job as of now. I personally don't love the idea but the only reason he washed out of Philadelphia was his roster changes he made as GM. With a good GM and a RB (Elliott, Collins, Miller) that can fit his system, I think Kelly could have success. That said, GM is the most important position by a longshot and it should be filled (hopefully by Tobin) before HC. I prefer others but Kelly will definitely be considered if nothing else.

Until I see who we are interviewing I largely refrain from voting in these polls. Right now I am at the Candidates I like vs Candidates I can't stand.

Like: Josh McDaniels, Hue Jackson, Nick Saban, Matt Patricia, Sean McDermott, Adam Gase, and Kyle Shanahan

Dislike: Mike Shanahan, Kevin Sumlin, Todd Haley, Tom Coughlin

Lukewarm: Chip Kelly

That's not the only reason. He can't relate to grown men.

I like Matt Patricia, but I can't see how he would possibly be an option with the Titans. Plus the Patriots defense hasn't been all that good this year and there's very little chance an "up and comer" gets consideration after a poor to average year.

... and while I added Kelly, there's very little chance he comes to the Titans. And I'll be surprised if anyone votes for him in the poll. However he is an option! (not really.)

Not a fan of Bevell either, but the Seahawks offense the last half of the season? Really, really good.

I don't think Payton is a realistic choice either.  The rumor mill says that the compensation will be a second round choice at least.

10th in points allowed and 9th in total yards isn't that bad
