Given the number of people killed in the muslim conquests, people of any/all beliefs, I'd say you really have no idea of what you're talking about. It's been estimated that more people have died in the name of religion than for any other reason, and I'd say that's probably pretty close, from all I've read/seen. But don't act like muslims haven't killed their fair share of "nonbelievers." After all, the meaning of the word infidel is "unfaithful," meaning one who does not believe in a monotheistic god/allah. But they haven't just used that for an excuse, they've killed plenty of other muslims too, just because of sectarian differences. And are still doing so to this day. But the crusades were in response to the muslim conquests, which had raged for centuries before the christians got involved, and the butcher's bill was plenty high by that time. I would say that more people have died in the name of religion only because you can add Islam to the equation. They pale in comparison to the number Pol Pot killed in Cambodia, by a factor of 10. And Pol Pot's number is but a fraction of the number of Russians Stalin killed before WWII ever started. ETA: the saddest part of all is, these weren't combatants that were killed, these were their own citizens, that they killed because of political differences/opposition.
