Face
Bottom line, we need a fresh start. But in a hypothetical world if Amy Adams gave me a choice of firing one of the 2 it's Wiz & it's not even close.

Face
We actually talked about this on the podcast, it's tough they are both so bad I know we've spoken about this before but Whisenhunt is such an odd case. He looks & sounds like a big time HC. He's clearly a sharp guy & he's respected enough to hire a staff with guys like LeBeau, Horton, and Mike Mularkey. But he's historically awful. Coaches with records like him are the guys like Kotite & Morinwheg, trainwrecks that you can spot right away. I cannot figure out why this man has such difficulties winning football games. I's one thing to look and sound good at the podium. It's another to do well on the sidelines with the headset on. It's his bonehead playcalls that don't account for his team's shortcomings that get QBs killed and lose games. Find an O-Line coach and an OC that can call a decent game and things might look different.
rns90
I honestly think it's because (and we've brought this up before) he believes that his "system" works and he refuses to deviate from it. How else can you explain the OL blocking schemes?
No1TitansFan
I honestly think it's because (and we've brought this up before) he believes that his "system" works and he refuses to deviate from it. How else can you explain the OL blocking schemes? He treats it like a chess match, it's all about getting the right package on the field and dictating the right matchup; has to be frustrating as hell to younger players trying to pick up the system constantly getting yanked off the field. If the play doesn't work, it's the players' fault, never mind some of them are coming into the game cold and a little confused.
Atticus
I honestly think it's because (and we've brought this up before) he believes that his "system" works and he refuses to deviate from it. How else can you explain the OL blocking schemes? I was thinking along these lines the other day. I think he (Ken) not only doesn't have situational awareness, I don't think he BELIEVES in situational awareness. "Doesn't matter what the situation is (goal line, 2 minute, 1st half, 2nd half, players better at man, players better at zone, etc) we're gonna do what we're gonna do & its up to everybody to execute regardless of the circumstances." The problem is, other coaches see what we're doing and make 2nd half adjustments or goal line adjustments or whatever and coach circles around this non-situational philosophy. Oh, and, I remember Ruston saying something to the effect that he was hiring Whiz because he believes in a certain approach & doesn't deviate from it. Knows what he wants to do or something to that effect. I don't think he believes in preparing for every eventuality .... We're just gonna do what we do & let the chips fall where they may.
