scine09
Which team do you think Browns fans would rather have? The Browns or the Titans. I'd say the Titans easily because of the QB position. That Cleveland team is the same basically as it's been for years. And they've gone nowhere with it. MamlngEnvy
I think we are very close to the Browns in overall talent. Quite honestly, we might be better but we of course will be depending on some rookies to show up. Here is a short but decent write up on our OLBs https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2015/03/17/titans-morgan-and-orakpo-are-balanced-lb-combo/ lmmfao. ok....sure. the browns have plenty of talent everywhere, besides the qb and coaching room. id trade our squad for the browns as a whole any day of the week. MamlngEnvy
Well the browns have 3 pro bowlers last year...more than we had the last 3 combined basically. Not including Gordon...had a better record...beat us..but yes..our roster is better. Lmmfao. Oh ya and that better record came in the best division in the AFC. But ya...were better.. scine09
stiiilllll waiting to hear how its so fucking stupid to say the browns have a better overall roster than us..... You know how many teams have had a better roster than the Colts the past 3 years? Yet the Colts have been in the playoffs all 3 of those years. Why is that? I'm not comparing Mariota to Luck but the reason that the Titans are a better team than the Browns is because of the QB positions. Do you honestly think that Mariota won't be better than Manziel or McCown just by stepping on the field? I suppose given your absurd views on Russell Wilson that the answer to that is yes. How many years have these top players played for the Browns? Joe Thomas and Joe Haden have been there forever. It feels like for years we've heard about the Browns good young talent on D and their solid offensive line. They haven't been over .500 or even .500 since 2007. scine09
Yes, having a better QB has a significant impact. If Mariota comes in and is a good QB the Titans will be better than the Browns.

IF what if mccown comes in and has a better season than mariota? then what? lets say the qb is equal, since we dont know what we have in mariota, what overall roster would you want, be honest... Equal? Cleveland's. But I'd take Cleveland's actual roster if you're making all positions equal over plenty of teams. And I'd take many teams rosters over Indy's the last 3 years if all positions are of equal weight. As far as McCown versus Mariota it's of course possible that Mariota struggles early. He is a rookie, after all. McCown is a bad quarterback though. In my mind the worst of the 32 starters with apologies to Blake Bortles. He has no business starting in this league and if he was a backup he'd probably be in the lower half of the backups. It is going to be very hard for Mariota just given his physical talents, his intelligence and his drive to be great to be at McCown's level. He's going to struggle more than I think most people expect.
