Ah yes. The racist hate card gets played again. Along with some revisionist history. But that's par for the course on this website.

I've made my opinion on Locker clear many times, I would not have drafted him. But I respect his heart and willingness. I wish him success wherever he goes.

I also respect Griffin for his heart and willingness to play through pain, but I still would have cut or traded him years ago.

Skin color doesn't mean a damn thing to me, character does. And I've booed black and white players equally.

You're not in that category so there's no need to try and defend yourself.

But lets not be naive here. Some fans simply don't understand black urban culture and don't feel a black QB from that background can succeed.

LOL.  You're right...failures by blacks at the QB position are directly related to a failure of fans not "understand(ing) black urban culture."

 

Maybe the "black urban culture" should attempt to understand concepts like integrity, character, honesty, and hard work.  Didn't seem to be a problem for guys like Jackie Robinson, Bob Gibson, Eddie George, Steve McNair, or any of the other thousands of successful black athletes.
