Face
Ruston Webster, Blake Beddingfield, Brandon Taylor, and Lou Spanos were all at Missouri's pro day. Spanos ran the linebacker drills. Shane Ray had a disappointing workout, I assume he's foot is still a problem. I love he & Beasley. BTW I'm surprised with some of these visits, more specifically the DL. I was expecting us to add some more size, a NT for example, but it seems like we're focusing on 3 tech types, guys like Mario Edwards Jr who played out of position as a 4-3 RE. On the other hand, Markus Golden ran a 4.67 at his pro day (down from 4.90). He's looking like he'll be our 2nd-3rd round edge rusher. I really like Mauldin for that role but Golden is intriguing. Mythos27
Not big on Golden I haven't watched too much on him but our FO seems to love the guy. They were all over him at the senior bowl.

They probably don't see NT as a need since they haven't brought anyone in (even for a visit) at NT or shown any interest in a NT prospect. Edwards is an interesting prospect. High risk/reward type that hasn't tapped his potential. Should definitely be around at #33. If we're going strictly by need, RT and WR trumps the 3-4 de. I'm assuming Edwards is their target in the 3rd rd, he seems slotted to go late 2nd. It's not as much the NT as it is they seem to be looking at 3 techs of which we already have Casey & Klug as a backup, I figured we'd want more size. I think they want to replace Pitoatua who I've never found to be all that good. Edwards, supposedly projects better as a 3-4 end and 5tech.
Cyrus
Edwards is a bit of an enigma, so it makes sense for them to do some extra work on him. Lots of measurables.
rns90
Don't really know where the hell to put this but the rumors are that Breshad Perriman just ran a 4.22 40 time at his pro day. I wonder if that moves him up to the 1st round range.

I wonder if that moves him up to the 1st round range. Bill Belicheck was there. Perriman isn't going to last past New England in the first. There's also rumors that DeVante Parker is seen as more of a 2nd day pick, but will likely still go in the first round. I think our visit with him was as a potential 2nd round pick. I could see Perriman replacing Parker in the pundit rankings.
Face
I guess I should've put 2 & 2 together but I didn't realize Breshad is Brett's son, who was a real nice WR. If we don't take Mariota I still think WR could be a shocker for us, Cooper & White are awesome prospects who check every box.

I could see Perriman replacing Parker in the pundit rankings. I find the second round pick a lot more interesting than our #2 overall pick. Anyway extrapolating a bit here are some of the needs of the teams picking in the latter half of round one: PHI: CB, S, WR CIN: DE/edge, DT/NT, LB, and WR a distant 4th PIT: Edge rusher, corner, S DET: LT, DT, slight chance at RB ARZ: CB, edge rusher, RB CAR: OT, WR, S BAL: WR, CB. Edge rusher, TE DAL: CB, front seven, RB DEN: OT, edge rusher, G IND: S, OT, edge, 3-4 de, RB GB: ILB, CB, DL NO:edge, G, WR, ILB NE: CB, DT, G BAL is the obvious one to take a WR. PHI has a good chance of taking one as well. Carolina could take one but I think there OT needs trump this. And maybe NO. And there are always one or two surprise picks in round 1. I disagree that NE will take a WR in Round 1. Under Belicheck, the highest they drafted a WR is round 2, furthermore, the Pats have drafted defensive players with their first pick 7 out of the last 8 years. I think it is less likely that a highly ranked OT falls to us. There are just too many teams that need OL. So yeah, I'd rush to the podium if Parker were there, it's not as far fetched as one might think. I think Andrus Peat could slide a little too. That would actually be a good debate, a big physical WR or a OT at 33?

They've gotten away with a terrible WR core thanks to Gronk & of course Brady but they have to work so hard to score, constantly chipping away. This time caught me completely off guard and I've watched a good amount of his film.
