TheChosenTitan
He is the real deal and a pure pass rusher that would help our defense tremendously. I never wanted a defensive player in the draft as much as Barr this year.
MIKE75
Same here, hope Mack or Barr drops to 11.
Dikinbaus
My very early wish list. Round 1: Barr/Mack Rounds 2: Mason/Seastrunk/Carey Round 4: Murray/McCarron We get a combo of any of those guys I will be very happy
Frank Andbeans
Michael Sam is probably more available.
Frank Andbeans
Barr is all potential. It's hard for me to get all that excited when he doesn't have multiple moves or a great understanding of pass rush angles. You're projecting that he will vastly improve and while he has all the potential you could want I think he's risky. I'd take Mack over him (also think Mack has a better chance of falling due to schemes of teams above us).
headhunter
Id take Barr over Mack. So much potential and we have his LB coach.
JLocker10
Id take Barr over Mack. So much potential and we have his LB coach. I doubt we'll have a choice of either or  I expect one of them or both of them to be gone by the time we pick
TeamRamrod
I'm also lukewarm on Barr. He looks great pass rushing most of the time but he's pretty meh against the run. That ceiling is sky high though. I'd much prefer Mack if we had our choice
WG53
Definitely Mack over Barr.
TeamRamrod
Id take BPA at 11 and Attaochu or Ford in the second if Mack and Barr are gone
Frank Andbeans
I'd add Murphy to those two, but I'm not sure any of them last to our 2nd rounder.
NashvilleNinja
I'd be happy with either Mack, Barr, or Nix. If we're going defense.
THE_TITAN
Been scouting Barr and he's moved down my board some, he needs a lot of refinement and is a larger risk than I would like.
TeamRamrod
I knew I must not have been the only one not that impressed with Barr's tape. Now sliding down media boards. Ahead of the curve I am. Just like Shariff Floyd last year. I watched their film and I didn't get the hype. Barr still has a high ceiling and a first rounder but Mack is a much better prospect. Frank Andbeans
Barr has a perfect combination of size (6'4, 248, long arms) and athleticism to play OLB in a 3-4. Very good agility and explosiveness. Will possibly run under 4.5. Point being don't be so enamored with tape on a guy (13.5 and 10.0 sacks the last two years by the way) who was a running back three years ago. I still see more there than we had with guys like Mingo last season. Sure he will need to develop some additional pass rush moves and learn how to play with better leverage but he is going to shine as a weak side OLB and pass rusher. He is almost the spitting image of DeMarcus Ware when he came out. He's a top notch prospect but people get carried away with thinking he's some sort of fail safe pass rusher. He has a lot of room for improvement as a player. I like him but he's a project, not a home run. Never liked Mingo. Ware was a much more rounded OLB prospect. He was from a small school but he had all the skills you could want. The thing that is comforting about Barr is that we have Spanos. We have all the insight we could want - if we pick him I'd think Spanos vouched for him.
