chef
Not starting a poll, but if you were forced to choose: 1) keep Locker, cross fingers, be semi-forced to pick up huge 5th year option at $13(?) million 2) go after Cutler (if he comes free), and pay him a gazillion dollars 3) trade a 2nd for Cousins Assuming these were your only 3 options (and no they are not, but all 3 are being discussed here now), #3 does not seem ridiculous in comparison. Was never really on my radar, and have only seen him in bits with the Skins (liked him out of college though), but a 2nd is a reasonable risk for a potential QB. Option 4), though, and probably the one most would choose, is draft a QB this year.
JLocker10
Then in that case trade the 2nd for a 3rd plus another pick(s) and then use the 3rd for Cousins. That way, at least we don't over spend and we get an extra pick(s) rather than giving up a 2nd outright. I doubt the Skins would trade him for a 3. They only used a 4 to get him. That's not much value in return.
Denali
I doubt the Skins would trade him for a 3. They only used a 4 to get him. That's not much value in return. How about also giving them Rusty?
Guest
I'm sure this isn't realistic but I'd go after the young offensive guy in Kyle Shanahan and trade the #1 pick for Kirk Cousins. The Redskins are absolutely married to RGIII and desperately need picks back for the trade they made to the Rams. We don't know about the rookie QBs coming out and guys like Cutler and Big Ben are 30+, we know Cousins can play and he's only 25. This would be my plan If any idea was bad enough to cause the expert analysis tag to be revoked this is it.

It's just a world I don't want to live in.
Nash
I'm figuring Metzenburger will probably be there in the 2nd given his ACL injury and Mccarrons looks like a 2nd round pick.. those would be the alternatives to Cousins IMO
N/A
This is what I would want Titans to do that is realistic: Kyle Shanahan - head coach (probably would not cost much and would come to Tennessee for head coach shot. He is very experienced for his age, and is from a good offensive scheme, so you get the high upside of youth grounded with good NFL experience for his age.) Kubiak for coordinator. Assuming his health is okay, I think he would work for Kyle. It would be a perfect situation for him to be coordinator for two years, while they groom a replacement coordinator and then try for head coaching spot after that. Gregg WIlliams for coordinator. With his bounty history, I doubt any team will be interested in him as head coach any time soon, and Kyle Shanahan would likely leave the defense completely to him, so it would be best non-head coaching spot he could get, so I could see him doing it. JLocker10
I think I'd rather have him do my math homework than coach my team
JLocker10
I don't get the fascination with Shanahan on this topic or the other one. Yea, let's hire an OC from a 3 win team!
WVTITAN
I don't like the Idea of the HC being a silverspoon son of a prick.
Number9
Delanie Walker is the second leading receiver on our teamYou are right. Early in the season, I didn't think they used the te's often enough. Wonder why the Colts game is not on in Nashville?
OILERMAN
All the scenarios involve risk, drafting an unknown, getting an older guy like Cutler or even keeping Locker I just happen to think Cousins has the most upside/least risk
