Number9
The Titans are a long, long way behind these two teams. I can't remember when the Titans could play as well as either team in this game. Heart breaker for Peyton, as usual. But even when the Pats mounted the comeback, Denver made some great plays, especially in ot.

Guest
I'm surprised anyone thought Manning would do well under the national spotlight against a QB not named Rex Grossman. Terrible game, worse stats. What a choke artist.
wiscotitansfan
How did Manning choke? The Broncos lost a huge lead but I didn't think the game was on him. It's not like he had a specific moment where he lost the game for them.
Guest
How did Manning choke? The Broncos lost a huge lead but I didn't think the game was on him. It's not like he had a specific moment where he lost the game for them. His overall performance sucked. He didn't average over five yards per completion. Manning, who is praised as this cerebral giant who is practically a coach on the field capable of taking over games on his own accord got outscored 31 to 7 in the second half. It was a weak performance. I know the Broncos defense is terrible and deserves a lot of "credit" for that loss, but Manning looked totally unremarkable out there tonight. It wasn't a specific moment, but rather an entire mediocre performance--which in my opinion is a much more damning definition of choking than tossing some big interception. They had the game and completely let it slip away. Manning, who is supposedly the most intense QB in the league, has his greatest rival in Brady up 24-0 at the half can't close out, doesn't go for the jugular, and let's the game slip away in a fashion that makes it look like he was being coached by Mike Munchak. Choke artistry.
IowaOiler
That lead was even built by the run game.
WVTITAN
Manning's deep ball arm is gone, there was no way he could take shots down the field in that wind. The Bronco's might be better off playing road games come playoff time.
