Well someone has to start it... (politics)

For me, one noticable change in recent months has been Obama getting tougher - or at least projecting that vibe.

Obama took out bin Laden and then ignored Pakistan's complaints and said he would take unilateral action again if we ID'd someone. He publicly told Israel that 1967 borders have to be a starting point, which surprised me a lot considering most US Presidents act like they own us. Part of me thinks it is just part of the growing process for a President after a few years of getting established. The other part of me is a political cynic and suspects that it is all merely a result of trying to set the 2012 tone.

I don't know, there's plenty more going on with politics, so feel free to throw something else out there.

Wow, so Obama is getting tough on a country smaller than New Jersey and cranking the screws to them about their borders. Yea those Israeli's are sure occupying a bunch of territory. Obama is a Muslim sympathizer and IMO worthless baggage. Can't wait to get his arse out of there. It is all an act for this guy.

So which is it for you? Because he is black, intelligent, or a liberal? Or all three?

For me it will be his failure to really fix anything that needed fixing.

There's still a good chance i'll vote to re-elect him though because the Republican party will probably throw out another retard who would be a worse option.

Nothing new about that one. This has been US policy on Israel for decades now.

The fact that Republicans have attacked Obama for voicing longstanding US policy really shows more that Republicans criticize Obama for everything he says or does. Or basically anything that happens regardless of whether he has any control over it.

Obama explained in detail during the debates in the 2008 election exactly how he would go after Ben Laden. Funny enough crazy ol McCain called him naive and said it wouldn't work. Gee too bad he didn't get elected....lol.

As far as what Obama has accomplished, he's done a lot. Not only has he done a lot he has done it while the Republicans have literally filibustered every single thing he's tried to do. Some of the Republicans that filibustered this stuff actually co-sponsored the exact same bills Obama tried to get passed. Once again, McCain was suddenly against "Pay as you go" which he co-sponsored.

Obama got the auto industry back on track, got health care reform passed, reformed student loan aid, Wall street reform, the equal pay for women bill and the credit card reform act to name a few. Oh yea he had Obama hunted down and terminated Osama Ben Laden.

Everyone says the Republican don't have a legitimate candidate. That's not the problem, the problem is the Republican message. Strip workers collective bargaining, strip government entitlements like medicare while giving for tax cuts to the richest people doesn't sit well with most semi intelligent people. You could dig up Abe Lincoln or JFK and they wouldn't get elected with that agenda.

Obama hasn't done jack squat really. He's reneged on nearly every campaign promise he made. Only dummy's think differently.

That would be "dummies", Mr. Fail "Lars" Dummy.

The culture for change has never been greater in the middle east but as I have said to Starkiller many times over the years, in my infinite wisdom and vastly more experienced travels and education on the matter, Israel wants change like I want Herpes.

The status quo serves Israel just fine thank you very much. Everytime a bus blows up in Jerusalem Natayahu has another orgasm because it allows them to keep up their apartheid campaign and keep sendign out the bullshit propaganda that it's them that's under attack from the rock throwing children next door. There will never be peace and resolution there because Israel does not want peace and resolution because that entails compromise and compromise is not part of the agenda.

I actually said this after the Media Correspondance Dinner where he joked on Donald Trump. I said then, that I think someone advised Obama to be more of an asshole or to come off as someone who doesn't care as much as what some people think. Because honestly, that was Obama's main issue, he was too much of a people pleaser. And when you try to please everybody, you please nobody...
